In the next scene,
Varun returns to Bose's office after the weapon demonstration and the subsequent negotiations with the Japanese officers.
Bose, his expression a mixture of curiosity and concern, addresses him.
'Varun,' Bose asks, his voice laced with intrigue, 'why did you specifically request non-operational jets and warships? It seems counterintuitive.'
Varun, his gaze steady, replies, 'Because, Netaji, I can make them operational.'
Bose's reaction is one of undisguised shock.
He knows the immense challenges and resource-intensive nature of restoring non-operational warships and fighter jets.
It's often considered more efficient to acquire new ones. He struggles to comprehend how Varun intends to achieve this feat.
'That is… extraordinary,' Bose remarks, his voice filled with disbelief. 'Making unusable warships and jets operational? How?'
Varun, sensing Bose's incredulity, smiled faintly.
'Because,' he explained, 'I possess the necessary technology to make them operational.'
'And even if it were to consume significant resources, which it might not, you must remember, Netaji, I am one of the wealthiest individuals in the world.' He said, smiling at Bose, as if to say it was no big deal.
And one more thing, Netaji," Varun continued, "I will be departing from india in 30 days.'
'I will return with both your requirements and the supplies requested by the Japanese.'
'Please inform them to be prepared to send-off those operational, non-operational aircraft and warships."
Bose nodded in understanding. "Very well, Varun. We will be ready."
The two men shook hands, a silent agreement passing between them. "Until then," Bose said.
"Until then, Netaji," Varun replied.
With that, Varun turned and left the room. He made his way back to the harbor, accompanied by his men.
To his surprise, the Japanese patrol that had initially stopped him now stood aside, offering a respectful salute.
Varun acknowledged the gesture with a slight nod.
He knew the Japanese high command had likely already been informed of the meeting and the potential of this alliance.
He boarded the ship, his mind already racing ahead.
The next 30 days would be a whirlwind of activity, a period of intense preparation and strategic planning.
The future of India, and perhaps the course of the war itself, hung in the balance.
-------------------------------
Varun settled onto the deck of the merchant ship, the familiar rhythm of the waves a soothing balm.
He and his team enjoyed the return voyage, the tension of the past few days easing.
However, Varun's mind remained active, constantly analyzing and planning.
He recalled the active volcano in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, That is near to them now.
'That could be invaluable,' he mused. 'A source of durable road construction material, like the ancient Roman roads built with volcanic ash and rock. We must secure that location.'
His thoughts then turned to the global conflict.
The Axis powers had crumbled, leaving Japan isolated.
'The atomic bombs,' he remembered, a sense of urgency washing over him. 'Hiroshima and Nagasaki tradegy will happen, within two months.'
'Japan will fall, and the Allies will begin their poaching of scientists from the defeated Axis countries, especially the Americans with Operation Paperclip.'
It was in Japan's fate to lose at the hands of USA, as they have Atomic bombs, against which they can't contend.
This was one of the reason varun wanted to break the alliance with japan, as he knew that they would lose and very badly. So he has to proceed fastly in his plans.
He knew he had to accelerate his plans.
'We need to move faster,' he decided. 'First, expand the underground base and build two or three more similar facilities. '
'Then, scale up weapons production. After that, a voyage to Europe, to secure those scientists before the Allies do.'
He envisioned a clandestine operation, a race against time to acquire the brightest minds before they fell into the hands of the Allied powers.
The future of India, and perhaps the world, depended on it.
-----------------------------------------
After a twelve-day sea voyage, Varun and his team arrived in Bombay. Upon disembarking, Varun promptly settled the rental fees for the merchant ship.
He then led his team back to their hidden base.
As they entered the courtyard, the sounds of laughter and lively discussion filled the air.
Varun stepped inside and found a gathering of familiar faces:
Veer Savarkar, Narayan Savarkar, and other leaders, along with several new individuals.
Looking at varun who just came. Veer Savarkar, his eyes gleaming with pride, stepped forward.
'Friends, brothers, patriots!' he announced, his voice ringing with authority. 'I present to you a man whose plans have not only brought us together, but he is also a man with greate abilities. vital resources for our struggle but also forged a daring alliance that will reshape the very landscape of this cause. This is Varun!'
A wave of murmurs and curious glances rippled through the crowd.
Veer Savarkar continued, his voice filled with admiration. 'apart from me and my brother narayan, who were on mission to revive the previous abhinav bharat society and the old friends of bhagat singh, bearing the fruits of his ingenuity and courage. He voyaged through the indian ocean to bring us a great ally, The INA.
He has demonstrated exceptional strategic acumen and secured a pact with the INA that will provide us with the an army we desperately need.'
He paused, allowing his words to sink in.
'But that is not all. Varun has also shown a keen understanding of the future, a vision that extends beyond the immediate conflict.'
'His visions doesnt just stop to liberating bharat from british's clutches, but he would also oust those extreme elements, Those that have been a big issue for the security of our mother land.'
'He following him will not only benefit us now but also lay the foundation for a strong and independent India.'
Varun acknowledged the introduction with a respectful nod.
He then noticed a man in a black cap and khaki pants, and with a deep sense of respect, said, 'Pranam, Guru ji.'
Well who else could it be in a black cap and khakhi pants?
The man was Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the founder of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Varun's familiarity with Hedgewar stemmed from his own high school days, when he was a member of the RSS.
He had absorbed their mission and teachings, developing a profound respect for Hedgewar.
Hedgewar was taken aback by Varun's gesture.
He had observed the respect and deference shown to Varun by Veer Savarkar and the others, recognizing him as a man of extraordinary capabilities.
Varun's humble act of touching his feet, despite his evident power, warmed Hedgewar's heart.
'Varun,' Hedgewar said, his voice gentle but firm,
'you honor me too greatly. Your deeds precede you, and yet you show such humility.'
'It is a rare and precious quality. We have heard of your contributions, your… remarkable abilities.'
'Your efforts have breathed new life into our shared struggle.'
He then gestured towards the other individuals present. 'These men are also dedicated to the cause.'
'They are members of the RSS and the Abhinav Bharat Society, each with their own skills and expertise.'
'We have been discussing the current situation, the challenges we face, and the opportunities that lie before us. '
'Your return is timely, as we were hoping to consult with you on several matters.'
Varun, acknowledging Hedgewar's words, turned to the gathered group, his gaze encompassing them all.
'Indeed, Guru ji,' he said, his voice resonant with purpose. 'And before we delve into our discussions,'
'I would like to introduce you to someone who has traveled a great distance to join us.'
He gestured towards a man standing slightly apart from the group, his uniform bearing the insignia of the Indian National Army.
'This is Lieutenant Dev Choudhury, a senior officer from the INA. He, along with several other experienced officers, has come on the orders of Netaji Bose to join our cause.'
Varun paused, allowing his words to sink in. 'Their participation will significantly expedite our progress and minimize casualties. They bring with them invaluable expertise in various fields, which will greatly benefit our operations.'
He then turned to Lieutenant Choudhury. 'Lieutenant, please introduce yourself to our esteemed guests.'
Lieutenant Dev Choudhury stepped forward, his posture erect and his voice clear. 'Pranam, everyone,' he began.
'I am Lieutenant Dev Choudhury, and I have served with the INA for many years. On the orders of Netaji Bose, I and my fellow officers have come to collaborate with you in our shared struggle for India's liberation.'
'We are eager to lend our skills and experience to your efforts and work together towards our common goal.'
'Jai Hind' echoed in this courtyard filled with great minds and valor.
-------------------------------------
Following Lieutenant Choudhury's introduction, Varun addressed the group, a subtle air of anticipation in his voice.
'Now,' he said, 'I believe it's time for me to show you something. Something that will, I hope, demonstrate the extent of our capabilities.'
He gestured towards a seemingly ordinary section of the courtyard.
'What you see before you may appear to be a simple dwelling. However, beneath this very ground lies something far more… significant.'
He then enters the house and with a practiced movement, Varun activated a hidden mechanism,'
'causing a section of the courtyard floor to slide open, revealing a set of stairs leading down into the darkness.'
'A cool draft of air, carrying the faint scent of metal and machinery, wafted upwards.
'This,' Varun announced, his voice echoing slightly in the confined space, 'is our primary base of operations.'
'A testament to our ingenuity and our commitment to this cause.'
He paused, allowing the group to absorb the revelation.
'I show you this not only to demonstrate our resources but also to convey my complete faith in your discretion and loyalty towards the motherland.'
'We are all united in this struggle, and transparency is paramount. I am laying my cards on the table, so to speak, for you to see.'
He then gestured towards the entrance. 'Please, follow me. I will show you what we have been working on.
