Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Isn't this a bad start?

Rey subconsciously followed up and stretched out his hand to stop him. Only when his hand grabbed him did he feel something was wrong.

If he doesn't do anything, maybe he can find an excuse.

Blocking it shows that you have a guilty conscience.

If a girl in prison is discovered, she will die, and she herself will not end well!

He wanted to take his hand back but was caught by a calloused palm.

The adoptive father turned back indifferently; his eyes reflected the light, and his eyes could not be seen clearly. What could be seen was that there was no emotion at all on his kind face.

Whenever he shows this expression, Rey is going to endure something, and his trembling body clearly understands this.

"Rey, have you become more and more bold recently?"

"You even dare to go against my will. Are you crazy, or are the wounds on your body no longer painful?"

"Do you think I didn't see what just happened?"

Rey subconsciously dodged, but he couldn't avoid his adoptive father's skill.

The man kicked him in the stomach and kicked Rey away with unimaginable force.

His back hit the wall and then fell to the ground. His whole body seemed to fall apart, and the sound of something breaking was heard.

In his original world, his adoptive father was already comparable to the best in kung fu movies.

But what surprised Rey himself was that he actually got up.

Although the head of this body is not very good, the body seems to be surprisingly strong. Is this also a benefit of being beaten too much?

In a daze, his adoptive father had already entered the dungeon, and he could only bear the pain and follow him.

The man was not surprised to see that Rey could still follow him. He continued walking deeper, ignoring the slave girl huddled in the corner.

Instead, he picked up the oil lamp and took something out of it.

The video orb, from Rey's memory, is something similar to a camera.

This man is suspicious and has never trusted his original self!

The man showed the pearl to him.

"Rey, I gave you a chance in the first sentence. After this time, I will give you more benefits, but why do you want to let her go and lie to me for this?"

"You did pretty well before. I gave you a chance. Why don't you cherish it?"

"Do you know what I'm most dissatisfied with? It's that you're not honest with me."

"It takes time to train a person. I'll give you a chance to explain. Once you're satisfied, I'll pretend this never happened."

Rey looked up at the curled-up girl, her eyes staring blankly at the two people who controlled her life.

She might not understand why they were quarrelling when they were obviously a group of evil people.

The man said it was because Rey let her go, so should she die?

Rey swallowed the taste of blood in his mouth and forced himself to think about the current situation.

His adoptive father gave him a chance and explained that keeping him was still useful; at least he would be fine for the time being.

His life is guaranteed, so what should he say to save the girl?

He is not a good old man, but he will not just watch a young life die innocently.

Normal excuses are useless, so they must be unconventional excuses...

"I, I seem to have fallen in love with her."

Rey tried his best, speaking tremblingly and slurring his words, and finally confirmed the answer.

As soon as these words came out, not to mention that the adoptive father did not recover, even the slave girl's eyes widened, as if she had forgotten her situation.

Rey was thinking it was effective, but his adoptive father was more ruthless than he thought.

Clang.

The adoptive father threw a knife on the ground and said, "In this case, things are simple. Kill her and prove yourself to me."

The adoptive father was a smart man. He didn't ask for the reason, and he didn't need to ask.

If Rey takes action, his adoptive father will be sure that he is still under his control while planting fear even deeper.

Without taking any action, just deal with him together.

Rey picked up the knife as the two looked at him.

He looked up and saw the kind face of his adoptive father. He thought that face was more disgusting than the smell in the dungeon.

The adoptive father stared at Rey's every move with cold eyes. If he didn't obey, the consequences could be imagined.

Death, even though it was the second time, still frightened Rey.

Do I have to kill an innocent girl and live on charity?

Or did he resolutely refuse to obey and was beaten to death by his adoptive father just for the sake of his passion?

He didn't even choose. Who stipulated that there were only two compromise options?

Is that damn system useless?

Rey lowered his head; a flash of madness flashed in his eyes.

(Anything is good, as long as it can be spent; please redeem your points for combat power!)

[bite!]

[Kind tips]

[The fire magic stone on the host's body was shattered when he was beaten, and it has been included in the points. The host may not have noticed it.

(What?)

Rey quickly expanded the panel and saw that he had indeed received 200 more points and had an additional fire magic skill.

No hesitation.

(Exchange them all for combat power.)

[It is detected that the host's combat power is less than 100; points will be redeemed at a ratio of 5:1.]

[Combat power has been increased; current value: 45 (you are already a little master who can fight against five scum with one punch)]

The body suddenly became much lighter, and the injuries seemed to be much lighter.

There was a lot of surging magic power in his body, making him clearly feel that he had become stronger.

Rey raised his eyebrows and punched his original self. He felt a little stronger than his adoptive father.

However, he felt that it could be a little more stable.

He felt his chest was heavy before, so he put his hand in and found two balls.

One broken, one intact.

"What are you doing?"

The adoptive father found that he didn't seem to be thinking about whether to take action, but he felt that he couldn't make a splash and was just asking questions.

Rey no longer felt the original sense of oppression from him.

Why is there no invincibility time when the protagonist upgrades? Can't you wait? I'll stabilise it first.)

"Don't worry."

He said unceremoniously.

Since it would still cost money if a valuable item on his body is broken, then the matter is much simpler. He only has many ways to make another bead break.

Thinking of this, Rey quickly took out the complete bead from his chest and shouted, "Sneak attack!"

A blue bead hit the adoptive father's chest.

It doesn't matter if he misses; falling to the ground can still achieve his goal.

Rey's combat power has increased, and this casual throw is extremely fast.

But after all, it was an above-board "sneak attack", and the adoptive father had already been prepared.

I saw the man raising his sword and lowering it. The sword flashed, and the bead fragments fell to the ground.

Such an obvious attack naturally did not pose any threat to him.

But this was exactly what Rey wanted, and the system really responded.

[The host spent a water magic stone, worth 2 silver coins, which has been converted into 200 points, and obtained the skill – water magic.]

(All, combat power.)

[The combat power has been increased; the current value is 85. (With the host's current combat power, even if you walk on the street like you don't recognise your relatives, few people will dare to mess with you, and the b*****d spirit is beginning to show.)

(This is the script for the male protagonist of the novel. What was it before? Cut it off and start over!)

Just as Rey was feeling the changes in his body.

"Rey, do you want to die? Dare you smash something at me?"

The adoptive father's face seemed to be suppressing anger, but he was no longer frightened at all.

Rey now sees this obvious villain's face and even finds it ridiculous.

This is the confidence the system gave him.

"You are awesome; you are noble; you are so amazing."

"Brother, I've been putting up with you for a long time. Stop being Moji and just come up and have a fight."
