He picked up the phone and dialed a number, his fingers moving with a practiced ease. The phone rang only once before it was answered.


"Coulson, it's Fury," he said, his voice firm and commanding. "I need you to clean up the scene. We can't have any loose ends."


Phil Coulson, who was already on the scene, responded immediately. "Sir, I'm on it. I've got a team moving in to secure the area and contain any potential witnesses."
