She went to the NSF office the last time and met Phoebe there. Charles and Stefan were at a meeting. Phoebe hugged her and then introduced her to the woman beside her.
"Meet Sophie Deveraux. She is the one I mentioned before. Sophie executed a mission before. She can give you some advice."
"Hello, Sophie" Eve greeted.
"Hi Evelyn. You're going to do something we've never done before. I must say you're a strong girl." Eve looked at her with sad eyes.
"What mission did you carry?"
"I also followed them when they were in some other place, 7 years back. After that, many things have changed. The leader is the one we want to know about. I got to know about many things, but not the leader."
"Almost all the information on them we've got is all because of Sophie." Phoebe added.
"There is only one thing you can't forget. Always show them how weak you're. Convince them in such a way that even if they find evidence of your killing someone, they will not believe it." Sophie said in a very serious tone.
Eve nodded and thought about how her life took a full 180 degree turn. How normal things were before and now she was caught in a series of severe drama, the only difference being it was the play of reality with her being the lead heroine who was caught in a very dangerous situation.
"I don't have to act. I'm already a weak person."
Phoebe looked at Eve and understood what she was going through. It was a very difficult decision taken by such a young girl. Other girls in her shoes would've took some stupid steps like running away or suicide after hearing that they've to deal with such dangerous people. Phoebe had a lot of respect and love for eve. Today, she was also sad.
"No Eve. Never think like this. You are the bravest girl I've ever met." Phoebe said, meaning every word she uttered.
Eve looked at her with unsure eyes. She was always the good girl, loved by her family, friends and relatives. She never imagined herself to be brave.
"The things you are doing, keeping your family in mind are so hard to do. Even though you knew everything about them, you still said yes, instead of just running away."
"You are brave. Just believe in yourself." Phoebe hugged her and stopped the tears coming in her eyes.
"Thank you, Phoebe." Eve replied.
After all this, Charles and Stefan met her. Charles had doubts about her because the mission is too crucial and she is just a little girl. Whether she could do it or not was hard to say. But they couldn't forget the fact how strongly she acted when she met Ayden for the first time.
She now has only a few hours to have the freedom she always had because after some time, she will be with the monster who will lock her in his world and will snatch everything dear to her.
Yesterday night, she lied to her family and Chrissy about getting an admission in the Acreshire. She also showed them the college's acceptance letter but Chrissy was still suspicious about it.
Chrissy drops her to the airport and looks at her with tears in her eyes.
"Something still doesn't make sense. I'm not satisfied by what you said." Chrissy said.
"Nothing's wrong. I'll return in a few months." Eve forces a smile.
"I'll miss you, Eevee. Come back soon. Eat properly and don't you dare forget to call me daily. If you forget, I'll come there and will definitely break your legs." Chrissy said, sobbing hard.
Eve also starts crying but hearing Chrissy's last line she couldn't help but chuckle.
"I'll..miss you too. Take care."
She hugs her tightly as if this is the last time and then after saying bye to her, walks towards the airport.
The whole airport thing was to make Chrissy believe the Acreshire lie.
Then she returns to the park and waits for Ayden. Stefan with some other guys, clad in normal clothes, keeps an eye on her from a little distance.
Eve's heartbeat becomes erratic. She feels as if she is going to die. The strong urge to run far away from all this, rises inside her. She knows she isn't ready for all this but somehow has to do it.
She doesn't want to think about the circumstances she would be in once she gets there. She knows if she will think about what's going to happen to her, she will probably regret her decision and it would be far more difficult for her to go with that stone hearted man.
Her heartbeat quickens when she sees a familiar car in front of her. Instantly, she recognises it. The car's door opens and her worst nightmare stands in front of her.
"You look beautiful." he said, staring at her and then continued, "Come, get inside the car." Eve realised that Bryan was with them too. He opened the back door for her and picked her luggage. First, she hesitated but then sat.
"You remember him, don't you?" He points towards Bryan once she settles down. Eve looks towards him and makes a confused face.
"Don't tell me you forgot him?" He asks, waiting for her to reply.
"He is your brother. I forgot his name." She replied, straightly.
Ayden laughs looking at Bryan while Bryan smiles too. They look handsome and normal while smiling and talking but no one knows how evil they are.
All the time, Eve looks out from the window. She is very sad and her face reflects it. This time, she doesn't need to hide that she is in pain because the man she is with now knows exactly about it, given that he is the one who has inflicted this pain on her.
Ayden tries to talk to her but she remains silent or answers in one or two words. Bryan, on the other hand, is very quiet throughout the journey.
"How is that friend of yours?" Ayden asked. These were some sensitive topics for eve. Even though she just met Christine some time back, still she missed her.
"She is good," she replied, looking down.
Seeing her reaction, Ayden didn't ask much about her and shifted to another thing.
"You'll meet my parents today."
He declared, leaving Eve in a dilemma. Why does he want her to meet his parents? How would his parents be? Don't they know their son kidnapped her? Are they also involved in the infamous work he does? What is going on?
Thinking about all this, her head spun. Ayden looked at her through the front mirror and thought she wasn't feeling well. As Bryan was driving the car, he told him to stop.
"Let's have lunch here." Bryan said, pointing at the hotel outside. Ayden nodded while Eve remained seated in the car silently.
"Come on, Eve." Ayden asked her while opening the car's door for her.
"I don't feel like eating." she answered. Bryan left them both alone there.
Ayden gently pulled her outside and then hugged her tightly. With her in his arms, he stroked her soft hair. Eve hated him and his touch, so she tried to push him.
"You really become a wild cat sometimes." Ayden replied to her digging her nails on his exposed skin. His one hand slid down the side of her face in a warm caress while the other stopped her from pinching him.
After some time, he released her and, keeping his hand on her small waist, walked inside the hotel where Bryan was waiting for them.
Eve tried to shake off his hand from her waist but wasn't able to do so.
The three of them sat together to eat. The waiter came for the order. Ayden and Bryan told him but Eve remained silent.
"What do you want to eat, Eve? Don't waste time." Ayden said with a smile.
"I don't want anything."
Ayden ordered for her and to her surprise, all the dishes he ordered were her favourites. She didn't want to even sit with them, let alone eat. But she also knew she had to survive for her family, for Chrissy.
Today her mood was totally off. She lied to her loved ones and came with a stranger who is a dangerous person.
When the food came, Eve just stared at the glass of water for some time. Ayden was looking at her for quite some time and now he was pissed off by her tantrums.
"Why are you not eating?"
"I didn't ask you to order it in the first place." She answered, making him more angry.
"Don't force me to threaten you. Eat your food" He said, gritting his teeth.
Eve wasn't scared of what he would do to her but the thought that he could do something bad to her loved ones made her very scared.
She looked down and ate it. Bryan looked at both of them with surprise. His brother, whom everyone is afraid of, got scolded by a little girl today. Not only this, he was also so patient with her and even after threatening her, his brother himself looked as if he regretted it. This was the first time Bryan saw something like this.
After eating, Eve excused herself to go to the washroom. When she came out, Ayden was waiting for her outside. She tried to ignore him and walked without looking at him. Ayden grabbed her hand and took her to the small quiet space near the washroom.
"What are you doing?" She asked in surprise.
All of a sudden, Ayden pulled her closer to him, pressing his lips on her. Then he started moving them rhythmically on hers. Eve tried to stop him but he kept on kissing her. The kiss was very gentle as if he was apologising for something. But all Eve could think of was that he was molesting her.
After some time, he left her and Eve gasped for air.
"I shouldn't have said those things before. It's just that you love annoying me and sometimes it's hard to endure. Let me tell you baby, I'm not at all a gentle person. But with you, something happens to me." Looking at her, he admitted his feelings.
Eve looked away from him, totally annoyed with his sweet talks. Even though sometimes she thinks he isn't that bad, it can't clean up the bad things he did in the past.
"In the future, I couldn't promise to be like this with you. So, don't annoy me." He said while playfully pinching her cheeks.
They returned to the parking lot and then drove towards their destination which Eve or even the NSF didn't know.
After a full one day, the car stops at a place and they unload her luggage. But to Eve's surprise, the place is a jungle. She looks at Ayden with confusion filled eyes.
"Don't worry baby, I do have a house. Just wait." He laughs while looking at Eve's face.
A man who appeared out of nowhere from that forest picked the luggage and without saying a word, again disappeared. Ayden walks towards Eve and grabs her hand. He then clutches their hands together and starts to walk.
