Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: The Players Are Serious

On the ground in the warehouse area.

Several players squatted together, drew two lines horizontally and vertically with branches, and then competed to draw circles and crosses on the grid.

Several others climbed to the roof of a nearby warehouse and lay on it to bask in the sun.

In addition to the smell of soil and rain, the air also carried a smell of gasoline or diesel.

This is the downwind side, and the wind blows this way.

A player was sitting on the roof in a daze, and turned his head to see more than a dozen motorcycles roaring in, followed by an off-road vehicle.

Squeak—

more than 20 aggressive people walked in, one of them stood in the front and spit on the ground: "Who let you in? This is the territory of the Wild Wolf Gang! Get out of here!"

The players looked up at this person at most, thinking that this NPC was too noisy.

They continued to draw grids when they should draw grids, and continued to bask in the sun when they should bask in the sun.

For high-level players, even if this game is to develop into a world competition in the future, it will be after the game is publicly tested. The current internal test is just a retirement simulator for them.

Seeing that the players ignored him, the leader of the Wild Wolf Gang was furious: "Did you hear me? Get out of here!"

A breeze blew through the dead leaves from left to right.

The players did not react at all, and one of them even yawned comfortably while lying on the ground.

The leader of the Wild Wolf Gang was furious.

He had been drinking and bragging with his brothers, but he did not expect the boss to call and say that there was an intruder in Warehouse 66 and asked him to deal with it immediately.

What's the big deal if he drank half of the wine? But the boss said, he had to do it.

Seeing that this group of players ignored him, the leader randomly picked the one he disliked the most, that is, the man who was lying on the ground in the shape of a "big" and painted himself into a pink starfish with paint, and grabbed his collar.

"Hey!" The leader spoke to the wet man, "Did you hear that? Are you all deaf?"

The man just looked at him with a confused look, revealing a clear stupidity in his eyes.

He picked up a brush and painted half of the boss's face with yellow paint, then smiled like a fool.

The boss was so angry that he trembled all over. He pulled out the pistol from his waist and shot the man in the head.

Bang!

[Health: 0]

[Player [All of you, accompany me to kill enemies] has died]

[Resurrection time: three days in the present world]

The boss did not see the blood and flesh flying, only a bunch of dissipated light spots.

"What's going on?" He was stunned, "The legendary digital life?"

The area around Warehouse No. 66 suddenly became quiet, with only the sound of the wind.

The boss noticed that all the people lying on the roof climbed up quickly, those who were spinning like zombies stopped and looked at him indifferently; even those who squatted on the ground and laughed foolishly from time to time turned their heads to look at him.

Facing the eyes of this group of people, the boss suddenly felt a strange fear. The way these people looked at him was like looking at an ant struggling on the side of the road.

"What are you looking at!" The little leader said sternly, "Those who want to die, keep them! Those who don't want to die, get out now!"

The invaders ran away without saying a word.

"Heh," the little leader said to himself, "They are just a bunch of brainless homeless people."

He shook his head and prepared to go to the basement of Warehouse 66 to take a look.

Just after taking a few steps with his little brother, the little leader found that "homeless people" in strange clothes appeared in all directions.

They surrounded the members of the Wild Wolf Gang behind the wall, behind the stone, and on the roof.

Although each "homeless person" was dressed like a cyber psychopath, they were not chaotic. Instead, each of them held a sharpened wooden short spear in a uniform manner.

[Mission: Repel or eliminate the support of the Wild Wolf Gang]

[Reward: Mission Contribution Bonus]

A member of the Wild Wolf Gang was dragged away under the nose of the little leader because of carelessness. In less than ten seconds, nothing was left except a pair of underwear.

"You asked for this!" the small leader shouted, "Shoot, kill them!"

Bang, bang, bang!

The Wild Wolf Gang members fired in all directions, hitting many level 0 players who had not found cover.

[Player... dead]

[Player... dead]

"It takes three days to resurrect. It's so troublesome. I finally get a chance to slack off at work." A player on the east said.

"It's better to get some sun here than on a water bed." A player on the west said.

Several players on the south gathered together, and several on the rooftops in the north grabbed large rocks.

"Not good!"

The Smoker and Cute Man ran out and found that the players with only wooden short spears were already fighting with the Wild Wolf Gang, who each had a gun.

"Hello!" The Smoker lowered his head and made a call using the game system, "Mobile Team? I'm in the warehouse area of Berry Street. There's a group of people shooting everywhere."

The liaison officer of the mobile team said in a gentle voice: "Are there any company people or VIP customers injured? We are contacting the trauma team."

"Not yet... No." The Smoker dodged a concrete block shattered by bullets.

The liaison officer's tone changed and became extremely impatient: "What does that have to do with us? Wasting my time."

Bang!

The liaison officer of the mobile team hung up the phone.

"Fuck!" The Smoker cursed, "I was wondering why I could see bad guys everywhere. It turns out that the mobile team in Giant City is just this kind of stuff!"

The cute boy said in a hurried tone: "The mobile team is unreliable. We players are all level zero, with little firepower, and we are always suppressed. This won't work!"

He suddenly had an idea: "I'll go and move the machine gun in the basement!"

"I'll go with you!"

The Smoker said, and sent a message on the world channel:

[Reverse smoking like a god]: Do you all think you are here to survive on a deserted island? Grab the other party's gun, brothers!

Some of the players reacted immediately.

Four people had obviously been working together for a long time: three players blocked a member of the Wild Wolf Gang and used short spears to hit him without any care; the last player snatched the gun from the Wild Wolf Gang member in one breath.

The Wild Wolf Gang member had never seen such a crazy person.

One of them had been shot to pieces, but he was still biting his arm with his head, smiling.

One of them didn't care about anything and just aimed at his lower body and stabbed hard with the short spear.

Another tried to nail himself to him with the short spear, as if he was not afraid of pain at all.

"Oh my God!" The Wild Wolf Gang member's heart trembled violently, and he couldn't help shouting in horror, "Cyberpsychopaths, these people are all cyberpsychopaths!"

Bang!

The player who grabbed the gun fired the first shot and knocked down the screaming Wild Wolf Gang member.

"Not bad," he muttered to himself, "It feels so real, just like a real gun. The scream of the NPC when he was shot was almost the same as the real thing, it doesn't seem to be made in a game."

The player licked his lips and became excited: "That's right! This is more fun than those shooting games!"

He hid behind the cover with a gun, firing a shot from time to time, and almost every shot would hit a member of the Wild Wolf Gang.

Under high pressure, the strength of this group of powerful players began to be exerted stably.

The Wild Wolf Gang's small leader had never seen such a crazy enemy.

The lunatic with broken limbs who could still crawl like a maggot and laughed happily made him feel cold all over.

"Cyberpsychopath!" The small leader shouted, "Retreat, retreat quickly, let's retreat to the door!"
