In a dark forest, there was silence in the air broken only by the sounds of bugs and sleeping animals. Suddenly a baby's cry pierced the silent night. The shout waked some of the animals, causing them to wake up. As the baby's cry grew louder, then suddenly.
"THUD" "THUD"
The earth shook, waking all the animals. Instinctively, the birds flew away, while the smaller animals hid in their holes. While the big mammals ran for safety, even when injured, driven by their instinct to survive from something.
A few minutes later, we see a silhouette in the distance running, followed closely by the outline of a skinny giant. With each of its steps, we hear the sound of wood breaking, even though it isn't breaking any wood.
Wall Guard (POV)
Night
"aaahnn". A yawning old man with scars on his face. He wears leather armor with a plated shoulder and a bow and quiver behind him. On top of a giant wall with signs and dried blood stains from past battles.
"When is the next shift about to start? My whole body is killing me that f***Ing commander won't let me retire saying that he doesn't have a replacement for me I really need a nap right now". stoping at a watch tower I can see Erk another guard sleeping I walk closer to him and each time I step I can hear a loud snort coming from Erk.
"This m****rf***er he was the monster sound I have been hearing for 57 cycles". (cycle means a day)
"Erk wake up". While tapping his shoulder.
"What is it, Oldman Rey". Says Erk while opening his eyes.
"it's your turn to guard I need a nap. This old body of mine can't handle this job anymore"
"Ohh ye. by the way Oldman Rey have you found the monster sound that's been bothering you for 53 cycles I think". While looking at Rey.
"It's 57 cycles. And ye I found it". While looking deeply at Erk.
"What is it, Oldman Rey". With a curious expression.
"It was you. F***Ing snorting while sleeping". With an angry expression.
"What really? But my mother always tells me that I sleep like a chiseled log".
"What? This F***Ing idiot". Rey mumbled.
This f***er scared me for 57 cycles without even knowing that he slept like a beast in a forest. I'm gonna kill this F***Ing.. "CLANG!"CLANG!"CLANG!".
Rey was interrupted by a continuous ring of bells followed by a multitude of other bells ringing the same, then.
"THUD" "THUD". Suddenly the earth shook followed by the sound of wood breaking.
And from this Oldman Rey and Erk go outside to see what it is
When they saw what it was, they were shocked to their core. In the distance, they spotted a towering figure, and with each step it took, nearby animals howled in fear. The figure was getting closer and closer to their position. Suddenly, Rey remembered a particular rumor he had heard in a tavern.
"Wait! I think I heard of this". Rey said.
"Really what is it?". Says Erk questioning Oldman Rey.
"3 of the most famous adventurer's bands of an old era were gathered to venture out of the city wall led by a famous mage trying to find a mysterious dungeon that is filled with all the worldly desires of men it was said that the dungeon was owned by those who lost and was said to home a great abomination when the adventurers had finally found the dungeon. However, when they opened it, they were massacred and released an abomination upon the world. Because of this, many nations hated the famous mage, and the name of the famous mage of that era was forgotten and vanished out of thin air even scholars with many of their books could not find the name of the famous mage so the famous mage was given a moniker as the vanished mage and the monster also got the moniker of the woodman".
"What really? an abomination have been in the wilderness for my whole life and i don't know it?". Says Erk.
"Yes because your an idiot". Says Rey
"What is happening!!". It was the commander climbing the stairs. When the commander saw what it is in the distance.
"Call everyone!!!".
