Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1: AWOGA?

Im tired of everything. I wish the world would just end, and this would all be nothing more than a dream. If given the chance, maybe restarting wouldn't be so bad. Just kill me, will you?

I keep thinking of scenarios that might make me feel better, but my life is nothing but regrets. I have failed you all. I wasn't a gift—I was a tragedy, slowly revealing its true intentions. I am nothing but a devil, born to angelic parents.

Please, stop this pain. I beg you.

Another day to live a life full of lies. Again, my mom still doesn't have a clue I stopped attending classes. Everything is just too suffocating right now. The only place that I hold dear is my house. The sole reason I'm still holding on is because of mom, but soon it will vanish when she knows the truth. I'm not proud of what I'm doing, but I believe this is the only way of taking refuge from all of the things that stress me out.

Mom left already, now I can go back to playing games. The new patch release is kinda good. Gotta play this for a while now. Damn, the new boss is really hard to beat, huh? You actually need a party of five to defeat it. Wait, what? It's already 6 p.m.? I haven't noticed at all. Gotta start making dinner before mom comes home so she can eat.

Gotta cook a bit more rice and thank God I remembered to defrost the pork chops before playing. Huh? What's that sound? I thought I left the game. Probably on the starting screen. I'll just log it off after marinating the pork chops. Wait a minute—why is the game music changed now?

I should check it out as soon as possible. Quietly walking towards the room. Wait, the mouse is off, but why is the game changed? I didn't even open this game earlier, so alt-tabbing doesn't make sense at all. Pee-peeep. Oh, that honk must be mom. I must go down and open the gates immediately.

Video games, hehehe. Times have changed a lot now. I believe the pixelated and slow-moving characters have come to life more during this age. The creature reveals itself and follows Noush, then utters: "What a foul prey, a mind that is done with everything but a heart that persists on living. This isn't the first time nor the first person to continue doing this. This boy is in between, life or death. Just a little push and it can be his end, but that's annoying already. I'll just fool around while I'm off their radar. Tsk, they are lurking once again. Oh well, this boy's candle is about to light off anyways. Humans really are remarkable creatures; they are good at holding things in. This boy is an interesting toy to play with. Too bad I won't be the one to bring him to his end. HAHAHAHA AWOGA."

I should go back now that I saw a glimpse of him. Wait a minute, he's just standing still. Why is that so? And he's looking where I am standing. Does he see me? I'm sure that only those pests will be able to recognize me, much less see me. But even so, they are coming close. He won't live for long any longer.
