Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: First Battle — Goblin's Cave

Since the day Ein first tasted the thrill of his new powers, he hadn't had a single peaceful night. The dragon's breath burning inside him, the unyielding resistance pulsing through his veins, and the instinctual sense of defense would not let him rest. It was as if his very soul was demanding he use this strength—test it, unleash it.

At the edge of the city lay a cave cloaked in ancient fear, whispered about in hushed voices. The locals called it the "Goblin's Nest," a place none dared to enter. But Ein was no ordinary boy—he was a Copy Holder, a being who had recently absorbed the might of a dragon. The weight of an unimaginable future rested on his shoulders.

As he stepped into the darkness alone, his heart pounded like war drums, his legs trembled, but he commanded himself to push forward. Three steps… five steps… then the shadows consumed everything.

The first goblin appeared—small, agile, vicious. Ein sensed its attack through the dragon's heightened instincts, narrowly dodging by channeling the resistance flowing through him. Within moments, the creature fell, and its speed became his own.

As he drew closer to the cursed heart of the cave, an ominous tension filled the air. He could feel it—a true threat lurking ahead. At the very end stood a shadowed figure: the Goblin Chieftain. Towering in size, wielding a massive sword and shield, protected by dark magic.

Ein engaged in a brutal battle. He tried to unleash the dragon's fire, but the Chieftain's shield resisted his magic. That's when he realized—brute strength alone wouldn't be enough. He needed to think. Strategize.

"My power alone won't win this… but my mind will."

Ein manipulated his sword strikes with precision, drawing the Chieftain into a trap, tearing away his shield, and delivering a devastating blow with the force of a dragon.

He had won. He entered this cave a nameless boy… but emerged a warrior.

Yet this was only the beginning. What lay ahead, he did not know. But one thing was clear:

He would not stop now.

The path of the Copy King had begun…
