Chapter 1 - Prologue

He died.

He didn't know how or why but he died.

And as he felt his consciousness fading, he celebrated his death.

Finally.

After way too long he died, leaving a world behind he did not care for.

So why, pray tell, is it he was still capable of thinking?

Where was the sweet embrace of death, one he had yearned for but never actively sought for?

The turmoil of emotions inside of him, emotions that dimmed by every passing second that came with life, still feelable.

Still there, like he never felt his life ebbing away.

And yet he did, had welcomed it even.

Never would he turn his back on death, for it came.

Swifter then life ever did.

{Operating system active and updating.

Please wait before getting your first mission."

Was this all a prank?

A cruel one, where death was passing through his figures because of someone's clouded idea of fun.

He wouldn't forgive them.

{Update succes!

You have been granted a system.

Missions shall be giving according the owners life.

Calculating in process.}

Missions....if he finds the one who did this...he would show them just how sweet death's embrace could be.

{Every step in the owner's life was with death closely behind.

Instead of cherishing to life you had, you thought of what's beyond.

The whistling of birds could never quite show you how beautiful life could be if only you lived in the moment.

Others would kill for you chances, your freedom and your life.

Operating system; by fate's design.

A system transporting you to different bodies, where the owner died unstatisfied.

Chained and broken, freedom far from their grasp as they wished for all they could have had.

Vengeance upon their minds and in their hearts.

Gave them justice, punish those who hurt them and life to see another day in their stead.}

Why should he ?

As if his own life had not difficult, did he not deserve saving from the cruel existence of life.

None of his needs where ever quite met, now he has to meet those of others.

It didn't feel like a prank anymore as death slipped farther and farther from his grasps.

As the system lulled him to sleep, message saying he would soon wake up in his new body.

Wake up...just when he thought even that troublesome part was finally over.

At least sleep brought silence.
