Chapter 3 – The World Bows or Breaks
---
The god's body was still kneeling.
A Herald of the Divine Sovereign, once thought immortal, now reduced to nothing but silence. Kaian didn't kill him. That would be mercy.
Instead, he erased the concept of resistance from Itharos's mind.
He turned to leave—until a ripple surged through the air. A pulse.
> "Ah... they noticed."
---
Elsewhere – At the Throne of Watchers
Above the known realms, in a pocket dimension bathed in white flame, seven figures stood around a celestial disk.
Their eyes were not eyes. Their presence wasn't presence.
They were the High Observers—beings who watched over the world's balance.
Today, the disk shattered.
> "A Null anomaly... has rewritten a divine signature."
> "That's not possible."
> "It is not registered. Not born. Not bound. An Error Entity."
> "Then we must initiate the Celestial Purge."
> "No... send the Hounds. Let us test the Crown."
---
Back in Endgrave – Moments Later
Kaian walked calmly through the ruined streets. People stared. No one dared speak. He looked too human… too calm… too wrong.
Behind him, Itharos still knelt, eyes empty, lips whispering to gods who no longer answered.
Kaian sighed.
> "They'll send something stronger next."
He looked up.
And the sky turned black.
Not night—black like an infection. Like something had infected light itself.
Then they came.
Seven figures descending from the void. Armored in ancient code. Weapons built from systems no one on the planet could process.
The Hounds of Balance.
---
[System Message Broadcast to the World]
> "ALERT: UNAUTHORIZED ENTITY DETECTED. PURGE INITIATED."
"ESTIMATED COLLATERAL: 98%."
"DO NOT RESIST. DO NOT INTERVENE."
---
The first Hound touched the ground. A titan covered in rune-metal, its voice layered in ten dimensions.
> "Kaian Zeros. Entity Class: Forbidden. You are not part of the Design."
Kaian smiled.
> "I am the Design."
Without warning, he raised his hand—and the world froze.
Time fractured. Laws shattered. Every person watching felt their heart skip. Reality glitched.
Kaian's voice echoed through the minds of every being alive:
> "You built a system to control power. I was born to break it."
> "Let's rewrite your purge."
He waved once.
And one of the seven Hounds exploded—not in gore, but in conceptual death. It never existed.
The others attacked in unison—slashing through space, rewriting terrain, using god-level weapons.
Kaian vanished again.
But this time, the world saw it.
> He was moving between logic.
---
Meanwhile – Deep Within the Abyss
Something ancient stirred.
A voice in the dark, sealed beyond the 7th Void Layer, whispered in hunger.
> "He returned… The Crown..."
> "Will he become the king?"
> "Or the destroyer?"
