"Tie him up. I really want to know how far he can keep up this act."
The men who came with Juliet were burly, but Edward was also strong, so he clearly could have struggled, yet he did nothing. He just stood there, letting others tie him up.
"So, speak up. Where exactly did you hide Aria Grant? I'm still asking you calmly, I still have patience, but I can't guarantee that later."
Juliet was truly running low on patience. If Edward remained silent, it wouldn't be impossible for her to take matters into her own hands, so it would be best for Edward to hurry up and speak. Time was not on his side.
"What if I don't tell you? Besides killing me, do you have any other options?"
Juliet truly wondered if Edward harbored such hatred toward Aria Grant. Why go this far? Knowing he had been exposed, knowing the danger, yet he chose to stay here.
And knowing she could kill him, yet he was so fearless. What was he really afraid of?
