Edward saw that even after what he had said, Juliet had no reaction at all, it seemed she was serious.
How could Edward consider trading Mallia Mamet? Even if it meant enduring a knife himself, he would not allow Mallia to be hurt in the slightest. So, Edward quickly shouted,
"Please, don't get excited now. I'll tell you where Aria Grant is. You must not harm Mallia, not even a little bit."
Mallia could not be harmed at all, but did that mean it was okay for Aria to be harmed? The more Juliet thought about it, the angrier she became. If she hadn't threatened Edward with Mallia, he surely wouldn't be telling her now where Aria was.
Then why should Aria be subjected to such harm? Juliet was genuinely furious, wishing she could kick Edward hard.
But reason told Juliet that finding Aria Grant was the most important thing.
So with a look, she signaled her followers to untie Edward.
