Erik had to get stronger, and to do that, he needed to do many things. The problem was that he was also under the government's radar. Since he frequently went out of the city, it was clear they weren't tailing him, but they were for sure keeping an eye on his progress.
Erik was now only increasing his energy because it was the thing he needed the most. The government was bound to test his energy levels again, but the system said it could take care of it, so he wasn't worried.
The problem was that he had to fake his strength was lower.
As Erik went past the breach and ended up in the forest's heart. He was going to hunt the Lomalins again, since they were a lot, easy to kill, and gave a decent amount of experience points.
Once there, though, he found an uncountable number of Lomalins.
