Trying to hold himself back, Yuki looked at Ryan Warner and felt his body move on its own— his hands slowly reaching toward the omega. But fortunately, the sound of laughter from the man watching him snapped him back to his senses.
Ryan Warner flinched as both of Yuki's hands clamped down hard on his shoulders. He saw how Yuki shut his eyes tightly, forcing himself to stay in control, and then, in one swift move, he turned around, pulled out the hidden pistol, and fired three clean shots. The man collapsed instantly.
Yuki tapped his earbud, and Luke's voice came through at once.
[Captain?]
"Are you still... in the car?"
[Yeah....] A pause. Then Luke again, voice shifting with concern. [What happened, Captain? Your voice sounds...]
"I'm heading to the parking lot. Send Aaron or Aden to clean up this shit here."
[Aden and Aaron are here?]
