Their lives as they knew it would never quite be the same and they would have to live with the outcome of what happened to them for as long as they lived.
Anything else related to them and the investigation was mainly full of speculation while most other details were not too clear.
Either that meant that the investigation had not progressed all that far or there had been no progress toward digging up such details that involved the investigation.
One of those outcomes was something that made Ash feel a little anxious since she did not know such details but the other provided her a feeling of relief.
Surely the investigation would be ongoing but there would be a limit to how much that could be uncovered.
The only thing that could be identified from the victims would be what they had seen and heard along with what they had experienced but not all of what they could tell would be all that helpful toward the investigation.
