IMOGEN'S POV
I got back to the car feeling like my world had tilted on its axis. My hands shook slightly as I pulled the door open and slumped into the back seat.
"What's wrong?" My PA asked, her brow furrowed with concern.
I straightened my spine and forced a smile. "I'm completely fine," I said, reaching into my pocket and pulling out the strand of hair I'd managed to get. "I want to have a DNA test done."
My PA's eyes widened slightly. "Right away?" she asked.
"Not now," I added quickly. "We'll take care of it tomorrow when we visit Elijah Rossi at the company."
She reached into her bag and pulled out a small ziplock bag, holding it open for me to drop the hair inside.
"Sure," she said, sealing it carefully. "You should get home and rest."
I shook my head. "No."
The reality of seeing Isaac was still sinking in, but I couldn't afford to waste time. "What's the time?"
She checked her wristwatch. "3:15 PM."
