Ess gave a long sigh. The little mutant rushed up to his leg, its ferocity disappearing at almost the same time as the life force of the cleaved beast behind its master. Somehow, the little thing understood that the new arrivals were not hostiles. It barely paid them any mind, wholly satisfied with lapping at the air while looking up at Ess.
Perhaps indeed, it had bonded to its master with both soul and mind.
The V-Amp roared as it approached and soon, it came to a stop right beside Ess. Twist was the first to jump out, followed by Bee and Ratchet. 'Eiden' was quite comfortable as far away from Ess as possible, and thus remained in the car, as did T-96, who was in the driver's seat. The guardian expected that they would be leaving soon.
"Woah!" exclaimed Twist as he reached his older brother and scanned him thoroughly. "You… don't look so good."
Bee approached too, her face ever so slightly contorting with concern.
