The elderly woman told Xander an averse tale. One that was dipped in shame that was enough to make any respectable Rider's blood boil.
A tale that would have been sure to claim the life of the villagers, but apparently the woman saw something in Xander that made her confident to tell him.
She told him about when it started—a decade ago. The Red Sea, feared by all save for dragons, a land that spread to far that not a single human had ventured deep into it was marked a roost for dragons.
Said to be the most popular place in the West where dragons laid their eggs, a certain greedy man had set his eyes on it and manadated the villagers to hunt eggs for him.
But the Red Sea was perilous. A land baked by the sun with probably enough volcano forming underneath it to cause a huge disaster should it decide to erupt one day.
