Xia who was busy engrossed with her training with her father got a notification from Andrew. Naturally she had initially thought that he would forget about her but that didn't seem to be the case.
Reading the contents of the message, she was stunned by his muses. She actually lived along with her father who managed a small martial arts center on the eastern part of the city.
It was quite calm and peaceful however they would rarely receive any visitors and those who did come would usually leave after some time but with the recent developments of monsters, people realized that they needed to get into shape.
It was a blessing for them as now they had a lot of people to attend to but of course her father would urge her to keep on training regardless of her skill. She was quite proficient in her field.
Her shoulder length black hair cascaded majestically complimenting her frail stature which made her seem rather dainty and reserved but that picture was instantly shattered with her somehow fierce attitude.
She currently had long white robes which went well with her pale delicate skin, a beauty resembling her mother who was dead.
"How?" She asked. "She was involved in an accident." Was the response she would receive from her strict father? She always did see it as skeptical but she preferred to not push or complicate the matters.
She had already ended her spar with her father who was now educating some newbies as it was evident with the groans from his voice.
He would usually revise over their flaws time and time again. Out in a secluded part of the center which involved a calming and serene pond. Ripples would disturb the carelessly drifting lilies swaying them from side to side by the ducks.
She sat next to a bench conveniently located overseeing the pond as she brought the phone to her ear.
"You... really... don't have to come over..." She spoke in a somewhat muffled voice but Andrew clearly heard it. "Is it that you hate me?" He asked playfully.
Xia could hear the sound of a roaring engine in the background making it apparent to her that he was driving and likely that he was on his way. "It's not that but... Can we have this meet up somewhere else?"
She asked careful, trying not to anger him. "It's a shame because I'm already here. It looks like you need to learn some manners." He said as Xia heard the car come to a stop. The crunching gravel was what covered the front part of the center making her tense.
"I'll see you soon." He said as he ended the call. As the satisfying sounds from the gravel permeated through his ears, he knew that he had other matters to deal with and this was the least of his priorities.
"What are you going to do about the enforcement on your tail?" Hedonism asked him as he made his way into the center. Some people upon seeing him would marvel however the greater majority would back off.
"Isn't that the Telekinetic Terror? Why would a person like him be at a place like this?" An observer asked in shock but low enough not to gain Andrew's attention. Some had already resorted to calling the cops.
"It is apparent that I have to deal with it. But there's nothing wrong about bending the knee." For him, a lot of options were present on his table, the problem. They were all too brute force for his taste but that didn't mean that he wouldn't utilize them.
After all, it wouldn't make any sense to have such an absurd level of power and not use it. "Hate to bring this up but apparently Fear and I need some parts from you. But I'm sure you wouldn't mind."
Hedonism asked with a maniacal laugh emanating from him. "I don't mind." He replied nonchalantly as he arrived at the grand door which now seemed deserted. Those present had already scurried off and the security had fled the scene.
With such a volatile character, he couldn't risk being around such a guy. Dismissing all of this, he gracefully opened the doors and what appeared in front of him was Xia's father, offering tutorage to some guy.
It was clear that the person was struggling immensely and in matter of seconds, all eyes landed on him. Some thought that they were dreaming while others froze in sheer shock from his mere presence.
They all had similar thoughts but with the current situation, they couldn't dare to voice them out. Andrew casually inched his way closer to Zhang Wei. The individual, robust in frame, had a bearded face and a calm demeanor as he assessed the person in front of him.
He naturally knew who the person in front of him was as he froze in place. It wasn't that he doubted his skills however going against a person such as Andrew, it was futile not to mention it seemed that he didn't bear any malice so initiating any provocative actions wasn't the best idea.
Andrew with his hands pocketed in his green hoodie as he looked at Zhang Wei. A small trickle of cold sweat was running down on his forehead with his teeth clenched, wondering what this monster wanted to do with him.
"Where's Xia?" He asked nonchalantly assessing the room. 'What?! What kind of relationship would Xia have with this despicable person?!' He thought but silence was his only answer.
*Tap-Tap-Tap*
Faint footsteps could be heard before a figure came into the view. Her alluring charm and beauty was presented to all however most of the eyes in the room were fixated at Andrew's figure.
"I'm here." Xia spoke in a soft and alluring voice rang drawing her attention. In the eyes of those present, she truly was a stunning figure, able to entrance those who would catch a glimpse of her.
Andrew dismissed Zhang Wei and walked over to her. She seemed rather nervous herself despite the earlier tint o bravery in her voice earlier. "Come on." She said shyly as she darted out of the room to which he was forced to follow.
"Haah, Haah, Haah!" It would seem a lot of people had been subconsciously holding their breaths with Andrew present in the room but quickly noting his absence, the initial air of stiffness quickly dissipated.
Without waiting for a warning, they all made for the exit as they attempted to flee the scene. Even the hired instructors were no exceptions leaving Zhang Wei alone in the building.
Some of them had already left while a select few waited should another scene play out.
...
"You really didn't have to come all the way out here." Xia said nervously as she led the way through the narrow but relaxing path. To the sides were towering bamboo tufts which would provide some form of shade against the sun providing a calm and cool euphoric feeling.
Zhang Wei couldn't let his daughter be left alone with the hands of such a monster so he instantly took off to find the two. He had a lot of questions weighing on his mind. 'How does he know my daughter? When did they meet?' And similar other inquiries.
The two quickly came to a stop at the calming bench and observed the calming pond which now had no ducks and eerily still.
Andrew casually looked at Xia who seemed flustered and somehow shocked as he could understand why she would be. "I want to be dead from this world." He said as he noted the reflection of the sky off the pond.
"What?!" Xia who was immersed in her own world of spiraling thoughts trying to deduce why he would ask for her attention was taken aback. 'Had I done something that didn't please him?' She thought.
"It may seem troubling but a servant of mine will make it more apparent and clear it to you." He said calmly as if he hadn't talked about her death.
"Did-did... I do anything wrong to offend you some way?" She asked with a troubled voice. So far she couldn't see what she had wrong. "No, it's just that I'm trying to-"
Andrew who was engrossed with the view of the calm pond, ignoring Xia's flustered expression heard a voice coming from behind them. "Do you think that I will just let you kill my daughter?!"
From the source, the owner was clearly furious at Andrew's words. Zhang Wei who now had a determined look on his face mixed with a tinge of bitterness.
*Whoosh*
Zhang Wei's body floated in the air before his body paused right in front of the two. A terrible foreboding looming in Xia's heart, she pleaded for Andrew to let go of her father. "Please! Please don't kill my father!"
She urged with her frail arms locking around Andrew's hands which were still pocketed. After a short laugh, Andrew responded. "I'm not going to kill your father." He said as his eyes took in Xia's expression.
Xia breathed a short sigh of relief however a spine chilling sensation ran down her spine with what he said next. "I'm killing you." He said as he dropped Zhang Wei's body into the pond which was deeper than it seemed.
However Zhang Wei was an adept swimmer and it wasn't long before his ragged and soaked body lay on the rocks keeping in the water. Andrew removed his pocketed hand, making Xia to look at him before tilting her chin upwards locking their eyes together.
He then swopped in for a kiss which took her by surprise but she couldn't pull away as she felt a force locking her in place. "Mwah!" A soft echo of their kiss rang through the air.
Zhang Wei who was now drenched with water seeing this sight couldn't help but shout at Andrew.
"YOU VILE BASTARD! HOW DARE LAY A FINGER ON MY BELOVED DAUGHTER! DO YOU THIN-" Before he could continue...
*Thud*
His head was instantly cut off from his body which then rolled back into the pond tainting it with a red crimson hue. "Father!" Xia screamed as she went over to her father's headless corpse which lay ever so still, indifferent to her cries.
Streams of tears tricked down her cheeks as she collapsed on the ground as she continued to clutch onto Zhang Wei's body. Andrew walked over to her before crouching bringing his head down to her level.
"I'm saving you from her. You'll thank me later." He said before snapping his fingers. Xia's world instantly lost its vibrancy and vigor before plunging into a dark and dreary world of absolute darkness which yearned to devour her whole.
As her body collapsed onto her father's, he let out a short sigh of relief before standing once more. He looked at the pair as their bodies lay lifeless. One decapitated and the other seemed to stop breathing entirely creating a bizarre picture making the cause of her death beyond perplexing.
A small spatial crack appeared and devoured the two bodies including Zhang Wei's head before disappearing. As for the blood, he didn't care. He made his way back towards his own opulent car before running into the situation he had anticipated.
"Hello, Mrs. Star Queen." He said with a small smile on his face. "Where is the rest of your crew?" He asked as he noted that the she was alone here. "Shut your mouth!"
She barked as her eyes teetered at the edge of losing her sanity. It was evident that she was about to go into a fighting frenzy as her breathes were getting louder and louder.
Andrew proceeded to stay still however he had a qualm to get off his chest. "I'm terribly sorry Star Queen for my actions." He said calmly however his voice and expressions didn't indicate the slightest trace of empathy whatsoever.
"However let it be apparent to you that should you want to kill me, or have me taken down. You'd be dead even before your brain could process your death." He warned.
He still had other destinations to get to. "However, if you yield, then I don't mind showing you how to play the game." He said with a hint of obscurity in his words.
