Kassandra's POV
The royal army, knights, and guards are skilled themselves. What I noticed was their focus. Most of them are too focused on fighting the food in front of them and let their guard down.
They need to sharpen their senses and be ready for possible attacks on every side of their body, whether up close or distant attacks such as arrows or gunshots.
"Here's your coffee, General Kassandra. Why are you still here? You should go and take a rest. I'm sure His Highness had been waiting for you in your room here," Captain Klauss says.
I closed the folder and put the cap on my pen after signing a certain paper. "How about you? I know you're tired from your journey here. You even bring the coffee that I ask from one of the maids here," I remarked.
He takes his seat and smiles. "Well, I heard from Vice General Arida that half of the royal-controlled forces were here to undergo training. I bet their bodies start to ache now," Alex jokes.
