I was stunned for a while as I circulated my gaze around the members. Their gazes seemed blank, so I wasn't sure if the person they were referring to was me. Or could it be the other Ioris who was standing next to me?
Their voices echoed and seemed to pierce my ears, then buzzed, so I almost fell to the ground. However, sturdy arms immediately supported me to stand up straighter.
Lex was there and wrapped his arms around my hips, taking in the members acting strangely.
"Lex, what's going on? Why are you here?" I asked, not immediately getting an answer from Lex but an invitation to leave the place. He helped me and strolled with the other Ioris around us. That girl must have suffered dramatically from following her parents' wishes to become a prisoner of the demon Ray.
Was that why she ran away, and I ultimately became the sacrifice?
