My relationship with Paula was becoming more intense and heated. There were some sweet things, but the more we used the remaining time, the more Paula became somber. Was there something she was afraid of?
As usual, we were already in an empty field where Paula had previously demonstrated how the portal opening spell worked. She was wearing different-looking clothes today. Her hair was all tied up, her face looked pale and lifeless. She looked weak, and I couldn't let her continue our training.
"Are you okay? You look pale." I grabbed her wrist and placed the back of my hand on her forehead, and I felt her body warm slightly.
She brushed my hand away slowly, but not wanting me to take her attitude the wrong way, she looked at me and gave me a weak smile.
