Souls descended from the ceiling. They abruptly flew through walls and from the floor. All of them seemed either asleep or oddly frozen in the midst of some action.
As they appeared and moved through the air the large black orb quickly moved about the room propelled by Rebecca, Althius, and Zolon. Cramnal, Tillynia, and the Sima and Azmin used magic to push any stray souls towards the orb. The vortex did all the work and instantly sucked in any soul that neared it in.
The souls were of different ethnicities and species. There were many Trannisa ethnicities and animals among them but many more that they did not recognize. Also these souls were both partial souls and whole souls.
The partial souls seemed to be like torn thick papyrus with frayed edges. Glittering colored dust fell from these frayed edges. The dust drifted down to the floor and other surfaces in the lobby to be sucked into the vortex of the large black orb.
