"I choose the domain of balance."
Rachel nodded. "Choose two more."
Ariel's eyes went wide and her gaze turned to Pasor. He was pretending to be focused on the Prion so she took that to mean that he was okay with her choosing twice more before his next choice.
She looked down and studied the items. After a long moment she finally spoke.
"I will take the tranquil thoughts and the slumber dust and that's enough for me."
Pasor looked up, suddenly aware of his surroundings.
"I agree. We should only have three while you have four. This is only fair. Do I go now or do you want to make a choice first?"
Rachel thought about it for a second. "I will take the obsidian path."
Pasor nodded. He could have chosen this one also, he actually wasn't but it is compatible with him so it makes sense that, if she wanted it, to make it her first choice.
That really only left him with two items.
