Marie was listening attentively but the more she listened the more annoyed she became.
The AsAlyanna spoke in circular riddles that had the committee pausing at almost every juncture of the process. No one could say that the process was moving too quickly. No, on the contrary the process was barely moving at all.
All of it was a convoluted mess and Marie was once again surprised by the AsAlyanna's behavior. This faction of the group was truly indescribable.
Marie sat forward and sent Anis a mental message saying that she wanted to question the AsAlyanna.
Anis almost immediately called for attention and directed the committee to pause their questions and allow the Milana to ask questions for a moment.
They had organized these questioning sessions in a way that those being questioned could go back and forth between the committee, Anis, and the Milana smoothly.
Everyone turned their attention to Marie.
She smiled as she leaned back in her chair.
