The meeting chamber was silent for a long time. Marie knew that she had both forced the issue and abbreviated the entire process. She was not a patient being and she did not like being lied to or guided about by the nose by people trying to stall for a better answer.
The truth was the Alyanna had made a grave mistake but they either did not know how to apologize or they did not want to. They chose to lie and attempt to manipulate the situation in their favor. They deserved much worse than what Marie ultimately decided to give them.
She felt it would be better if Trannisa or one of the others actually decided things for them. She was too vested to think clearly or fairly.
She sighed audibly and looked to Trannisa. When Trannisa returned her gaze she knew that she would have to see things through to the end. She nodded and looked to the AsAlyanna before them.
"Would you like to clarify this for us or explain your actions in relation to your last statement?"
