Both Rachel and Greyson began preparing. They were going to use a type of dream walking to speak with Jan's realms.
All they would really be able to do is pull them into the dream and speak to them. Rachel would make the walk stable and capable of holding such immense entities and Greyson would bring them into the realm and allow them to speak and understand each other.
Helena would be able to also bring the realms over through the dream world because she was a Dreamweaver and a dimensional mage. Because she understood dimensional magic so well she would be able to maintain the dream realm and manipulate the status of the realms.
But neither Rachel nor Greyson could claim this. Technically Rachel could do all that Helena did but dimensional magic was not an innate magic for her so there would be subtle nuances that she would miss and this was how backlash usually occurred.
Rachel looked to Greyson to see both of his eyes shut tight. Just as she was about to look away he spoke.
