"This is great," Dave mumbled as he looked through the skills he had gained.

[Most of them you have yet to understand,] Mumud's voice sounded in his head. [But as you grow stronger, my knowledge will activate on its own.]

"So why did you stay now if all I needed was your book?" Dave asked.

Mumud fell silent for a moment before replying, [Because... Braham may be cruel, but he was never a liar. He would even acknowledge his mistakes—just that his pride wouldn't allow him to lie.]

"So, is it true that Hell is distorted?" Dave asked.

[Maybe… or maybe not,] Mumud said before falling silent.

"Whatever it is, I will find out later," Dave said, standing up as Diana and Boa arrived.

"There's no more value in staying here," they said, and he nodded.

"Okay then, let's go to the next one," he said, and they nodded in agreement.

They continued their vampire raids. After clearing the 13th city, they didn't encounter any significant foes, only pure-blood vampires. Eventually, they reached the 9th Vampire City.

"What the fuck is this?" Dave muttered, realizing they had been running in circles. This city was different—it seemed to be a labyrinth. They were trapped in a repeating cycle, with the paths leading them back to where they started.

[You should use Magic Sense. It will help you find the right path,] Mumud suggested.

[Most labyrinths are designed so that the closer you get to the center, the harder it becomes. Use mana sense to find dangerous paths and go with them—that should lead you to the correct route,] he explained.

Dave nodded in understanding.

Dave closed his eyes, activating Magic Sense, allowing mana to flow through the surroundings. Immediately, the distorted structure of the labyrinth became clearer to him. The walls shimmered faintly, revealing hidden pathways and areas thick with cursed energy.

"There are false paths everywhere," Dave muttered. "If we keep following the obvious routes, we'll just keep looping."

Boa crossed her arms. "So, where do we go?"

Dave concentrated, his Magic Sense scanning deeper. He saw a faint mana current flowing in a particular direction—almost like a hidden tunnel invisible to the naked eye.

"There," he pointed. "The mana is naturally flowing in that direction. It should lead us toward the center."

Without hesitation, the group moved, following Dave's lead. As they progressed, the air grew heavier, filled with an ominous presence. Soon, they reached a massive, ancient gate covered in blood-red runes.

"This must be it," Diana said. "The core of the vampire city."

As they walked ahead, two more vampires blocked their path. They were True Blood Vampires, but after a swift battle, Dave and his group killed them with ease.

Dave looked down at their corpses. "Since they were just guards, that means we're headed directly to the core of this place," he said. The others nodded in agreement before stepping into the castle's depths.

At the end of the corridor, a male vampire stood waiting for them. His crimson eyes gleamed as he observed them carefully.

"You kill my subordinates so easily," he said, rising to his feet. "I hope you're ready to die."

Dave smirked and activated '100,000 Army Stealth Sword', an invisible single-target attack. The moment Tiramet, the vampire, tilted his head in arrogance, his neck was suddenly cut, and over 20% of his health disappeared in an instant.

Klockkkk!

A cracking sound echoed as Tiramet touched his wounded neck, his expression filled with disbelief. "What... what was that?" he growled.

But Boa and Diana gave him no time to react. Diana activated her buffs, increasing their power, while Boa raised her sword, ready to unleash Holy Execution—a specialized anti-evil skill that deals 1000% damage to a target, but when used against a vampire-A Demonkin, the effect increases to 5000%.

Tiramet was no ordinary vampire. He was a direct descendant of Shizo Beriache, one of her nine children. Compared to the usual vampire viscounts, he was at least three times stronger, making him nearly as powerful as an Earl.

However, even a quasi-earl was still vulnerable to holy magic.

A blinding light radiated from Boa's hand, preparing to erase him from existence.

"Holy Execution!" she shouted as a golden holy sword materialized in her grasp. She swung it toward Tiramet, aiming to strike him down.

However, Tiramet reacted at the last moment, twisting his body at an unnatural angle to barely evade the attack.

"You've messed with the wrong vampire," he sneered. "Unlike my weak brethren, I don't rely on special skills. Instead, I have perfected my body."

As he spoke, his eyes burned with red flames, and his entire body was engulfed in a bloody aura. It was Blood Undying, a rare skill that not only enhanced his speed and regeneration but also granted him additional power whenever he was wounded in battle.

He was like a berserker.

"Good, I'd like to test my new skill anyway," Dave said as he swung his sword and reached for a magic orb.

In magic equipment, wands, staffs, and orbs were commonly used. However, players preferred orbs because they could contain spells and adjusted casting speed based on stats. Staffs amplified magic power, while wands improved precision and range.

Dave had considered using a staff, but since he didn't have one at the moment, he activated the dark magic orb he had obtained from the Malacus Raid.

"Flame Spiral!"

Dave activated one of Mumud's spells, and Red Crimson flames surged in a long, spiraling motion, creating an advanced flame-throwing attack.

Tiramet snorted as his hand glowed red, and he counterattacked with both physical and magic strikes. However, despite his efforts, he still lost some of his health.

He stared at Dave, narrowing his eyes. "You… what are you?" Tiramet asked.

He was one of the Direct Descendants, one of the nine children born from the first vampire, making him a dominant existence among vampires. Yet, he was losing to a human.

"A human can't have these abilities…" he thought, his gaze locked onto Dave in disbelief.
