Angel wiped off the dried tears all-over her face, with the wet wipes Nadia handed to her.
Her breath had returned to normal, and she was even trying to smile again.
"Are you okay now? Do you need some more water?" Nadia asked in concern.
"I'm fine," she smiled. "I just need to ask you for something important." She turned fully to her, as her eyes held a desperate plea in them.
"Anything at all." Nadia bobbed her head enthusiastically.
"Well, it's concerning everything I've just told you. I don't want anyone to find out yet. Please don't tell anyone," she pleaded.
Nadia began to shake her head. "You can't tell me not to do that. Especially as it concerns Ares. We don't have a normal relationship yet, but I'm hoping that we will in the future. If I kept this from him, and it eventually gets out that I knew about it all along, it would just widen the gap between us."
