Chapter Seventy-Five
"Seriously, you have me," Demir repeated himself after she had not responded the first time.
Asli smiled as she remembered how he said those words whenever his other cousins pointed out she was not even the biological daughter of their uncle.
Demir never remained quiet. He never hesitated to tell them off. His tone had always been consistent while his stare was always as if he would kill anyone for her.
Whenever they told her stuff to make her feel out of place, Demir would appear out of nowhere shouting at them…. cutting through the room, and warning everyone not to bother her.
She'd watch the cousins move in their seats, some clearing their throats and others looking away, fearful of what Demir may do to them. He made certain they didn't irritate her or make her upset.
