Chapter Seventy- Six
"I learned you went away to rejuvenate. I did not know you would be back so quickly. Who are you?" He asked Demir but before he could answer, he went on "Don't tell me you came back because of him." Markus continued as he eyed the other man though his tone didn't sound like he was angry.
Like hell, she cared if he was.
"Shut up." She told him but the man was like a toy with a key in his brain, controlling him to get on everyone's nerves, and by everyone, she meant hers.
"I'm Demir." He introduced himself flatly.
It was as if he had never asked about the other man who he was at all. Markus simply ignored him, turning his attention to Asli instead like he didn't care who he was.
"I'm coming back from my villa," he said, his tone light, almost casual. "Ahmet now knows that his shipment is stolen and is tracking down the missing one."
Her eyes flicked to him, sharp with suspicion. Why would he mention Ahmet all of a sudden?
