Chapter Eighty-Six
"Don't push me." He told her.
She let out a slow breath, but he could feel the way her heartbeat quickened. She wasn't unaffected. No matter how much she tried to pretend otherwise, he knew her body too well now. After all, if Demir hadn't touched her, he was the only one who had.
Still, her voice was steady when she said, "You don't scare me."
He smirked against her skin, his hand sliding down her hip, gripping tight. "Then I'm not trying hard enough."
She turned her head slightly, her lips just a breath away from his. "You can try all you want, but you won't get anything out of me."
His patience was worn thin, but he forced himself to let go, to pull back just enough to keep himself from saying something he couldn't take back.
He knew one thing for sure, whatever was between her and Demir, it was burning him up inside.
