Chancellor Gustav had just finished his strategic meeting with the other court officials when a knight came to him, holding a bird messenger.
"Chancellor, we received a message from an unknown sender."
The knight presented the wooden capsule containing the letter.
Chancellor Gustav picked it up and read the content.
"It seems that Igrin is not the only one who knows about the assassination threat for our king. The person who sent this revealed that Kingdom Averion has formed an assassination team and they set out on a journey to our kingdom."
The knight was surprised when he heard that. "What are we going to do, Chancellor?"
"I have this under control. No one will be able to harm our King. I will catch them," Chancellor Gustav said with conviction.
"Shall we send more knights to our kingdom borders? We need to catch them before entering the palace."
