"I really need to have at least the slightest idea of how you're going to do this," Damon demanded. "you don't expect me to follow you blindly without at least knowing what I'm in to"
Damon didn't bother hiding the suspicion behind his words.
Marcus let out a fake chuckle shaking his head in disappointment as he stared at Damon with fake sadness in his eyes.
"I can't believe that you don't trust me Damon" his voice was smooth. "But you don't have to worry about anything. I already told you that I'm going to figure this out so I just need you to trust me. I'm your father"
That's more reason why I don't trust you, Damon thought to himself.
Before he had a chance to say anything else, Marcus reached out tapping his shoulder as if trying to mock him before he walked past him. He didn't miss the smile that curled up on his lips as he walked past.
