Just as Lucas was pressing his wife's body against his, the noisy banging on the door made Lucas pause and swear. Haisley held one cheek of her husband. "Calm down, sir," Haisley said in a soft voice.
"Just a minute, baby," Haisley said so that her son would not continue banging on their bedroom door.
Haisley slowly pushed Lucas's body, and Lucas just went along with it. He lay down next to his wife's body. One arm was now covering his eyes. Exhaling heavily to dispel his current feelings. He wanted to fight the thought that he stayed in his marriage with Haisley because of his gratitude and also because he felt sorry for Luke.
Haisley opened the door to her room and immediately closed it again to prevent her son from entering. Lucas seemed to be having problems and was acting like that. "Kakak, baby. Daddy is not feeling well. So, let him rest. You can't disturb him, okay?" Haisley said in a soft tone of voice, one hand now rubbing her son's cheek.
