Haisley knocked on her son's bedroom door. "Can Mommy come in?" she asked from behind the closed door of her son's room.
With no answer from Luke, Haisley slowly opened the door to her son's room. On the bed, her son covered his entire body, and the sound of crying was audible to Haisley.
Haisley closed the door to her son's room and approached her son. She sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the blanket under which Luke was crying.
Haisley climbed on top of the bed, getting under her son's blanket, making her son scream and ask his mommy to come out of his room. Haisley did not care about her son's words and actions, she took her son into her arms with her sleeping on her side, as well as Luke, who was also sleeping on his side facing his mother.
Luke stopped moving and was now crying in his mother's arms. Haisley was silent, but her hand moved to stroke her son's back. She kept rubbing until her son finally fell asleep.
