Aurelia witnessed the entire tower being shattered and a massive elemental emerging, she did not know why Cedric had not dealt with it in an instant.
She had one assumption, that was that it was a deliberate summon by Cedric himself.
After all, he proved himself powerful enough to vanquish any threats, but he had no patience for those he deemed unworthy, and even Aurelia herself was dismissed so quickly when they first met.
She had sworn that she would become worthy in his eyes, and yet her own soldiers committed atrocities that not even demi-human armies committed upon the conquered populations.
'If that elemental doesn't kill those soldiers I will personally make sure they don't see a light of day ever again.' Aurelia was angry and disappointed.
Cedric had granted them easy passage, he gave them the town on the silver platter, and yet they dared disappoint her beloved.
She saw what her legion did, she would not stand for this. If they were to act like this with demi-humans, who is to say they wouldn't act the same when conquering human cities?
How many acts of barbarism had she missed in the past, how many human women were abused and killed without her knowing?
She could only pray that Cedric was merciful to ones who were innocent.
Her legion was not a mere ragtag group of bandits, it wasn't an army of primitive cavemen, they were professional soldiers of Valar.
And yet, it disgusted her that they acted as mere bandits.
"Lucious, Rayn. What should I do? You were powerful champions before, I'm sure you have advice for me."
The archangels nodded in unison before Lucious spoke,"[Creator] had summoned a being that cannot be killed by these soldiers. It is hopeless for them to fight. They must surrender and accept their deaths as atonement for acts of barbarism."
While Aurelia mourned the deaths of the soldiers, if it was something Cedric thought necessary, then she would sacrifice the entire legion including Grahm.
"But, that elemental despite its size is weak enough to be defeated by Archangels," Rayn interjected.
"Perhaps [Creator] had summoned it so that you may attain a heroic achievement, which would increase your authority."
CRASH-
Crack-
A loud crash and cracking of glass could be heard in the distance, the elemental attack.
Aurelia couldn't help but blush at the possibility, could it be possible he made a weaker elemental just so she could attain more respect and authority?
The man was surely a genius, every time he did anything Aurelia couldn't help but fall deeper in love.
It was her duty to kill the "Threat" and punish the soldiers for their actions, she swore on her name that those who participated in rape shall be executed once they returned to Valar.
'I hope I understood Cedric's intention well...' Despite the reassurance of Archangels she still worried, after all, what if she disappointed her love?
"Rayn, Lucious, and Sir Archangel attack that elemental, don't let it kill the soldiers," Aurelia ordered.
With a nod the trio of Archangels disappeared in a silvery streak, the original archangel striking first, making the elemental wobble and yet it seemed to not take damage.

"GAHH!" Grham spat out blood as he was sent crashing into a wall.
His old body was already at its limit by a single hit. And the mere fact he went down after a single hit meant that they stood no chance.
Not only was he sent flying, but most of the vanguard was scattered in a single hit, they wouldn't survive another.
The massive elemental charged another attack, its blood fist ready to end the lives of the humans.
Despite its order to not kill, Elemental seemed to rejoice at the opportunity to make humans suffer.
It charged again, before stopping, its attention diverted to something else that Grahm couldn't see, after all, Elemental had taken most of the skyline.
It was like they were attacked by a damn mountain.
Some soldiers that were still standing tried to strike at the elemental, and yet every elemental was completely immune to slashes and stabs of their swords and spears.
The mission went so well, it was the easiest conquest in their lives, and yet due to human greed and lust, they committed sins in the eyes of God and so what was supposed to be easy became a disaster.
They had no honor, they had no right to God's gift, and they were unworthy of life.
Their pagan gods would not protect them, their faith was false.
And yet, silvery streaks that kept attacking the Elemental like mosquitos gave them hope, a hope that the great hero would come once again.
But the hero did not care for them, they were all unworthy.
Elemental thrashed wildly, trying to catch the flying Archangels, its massive size working against it.
Its immunity to physical damage letting it ignore most of the annoyance, fortunately, their holy-imbued weapons did heavy damage to it.
Chunks of the elementals disappeared in holy radiance.
Aurelia approached fallen Grahm, still looking like a resident of the slums from her previous battles.
"Grahm, what the hell were you doing?" Aurelia was equally as angry at the general as she was at the soldiers.
[Lesser Heal], Aurelia healed the man, restoring him to a state where he could at least talk.
"We were finishing clean up of the town when suddenly... That thing appeared. It was an enemy trap!" Grham pointed at the Elemental.
"A trap?" Aurelia questioned, no it couldn't be a trap. A great hero like Cedric wouldn't have overlooked such a massive elemental.
No, it was a punishment sent by Cedric himself.
With a sigh she turned her back towards Grahm, despite him being on her side ever since she could remember, him letting his soldiers invoke the wrath of a great man like Cedric needed to be addressed.
All of it would need to wait, barbaric soldiers would be executed and Grahm would be punished.
Aurelia was always a gentle leader, she hated punishing and would leave everything to Grahm's discretion, but if someone made her beloved angry enough to summon a monster against them, it changed everything.
Elemental couldn't defend itself against the small mobile targets that were Archangels, each holy strike shrunk it drastically.
Aurelia looked around, making sure that Soldiers were watching her.
'This must be why my love Cedric granted me [Divine Storm].' She smiled warmly as she approached the elemental, it was much smaller and yet towering over the buildings, its form still thrashing wildly as it attempted to swat the angels.
[Divine Storm], she activated it, it hurt. Her whole mind was taken by pain but she endured, cuts appeared over her body, she was a paladin and she would not fail Cedric now.
A divine storm, akin to Cedric's own and yet infinitely smaller and paler than his tore through the elemental, obliterating it as a trio of Archangels struck a final blow.
It was too easy, Cedric wanted them to defeat it, Aurelia was sure of it.
Elemental let out a deafening screech as it burst into a fountain of blood, covering the entire town in it.
Aurelia breathed heavily as she collapsed, [Divine Storm] took every ounce of energy she had making her faint.
