It did not take long for the trio of Hooligans to run away after their threats failed to work on Cedric. Despite their pride, they still had a semblance of survival instinct.
"You will pay for this!" Ban screamed at him as he rushed outside.
'Infidels always think they can run.'
"Aurelia, wait here," Cedric spoke casually before disappearing. He would not let them escape; however, their blood mustn't tarnish the Inn.
What's more, they would run straight to the Prince. Once Cedric had the infidel royal in his sights, he would never be able to escape.
He had warned the King, but the Prince will be the first to suffer a righteous punishment.
God's Chosen had granted them grace by merely giving a warning.
'And yet they wasted it...' Cedric followed the trio that was running for their lives.
Powerful bodyguards of the first prince, running away like little girls. 'Even Aurelia doesn't run away like them.' Cedric sighed as he kept his distance.
He expected such behavior from Infidels, running at slight injury instead of facing their rightful punishment at the hand of God's Chosen.
It was not like they would have been alive if Cedric wished to kill them; no, they were needed to lead him to the prince.
"Their perception is horrendous." Cedric mused, how were they so bad. How is a royal bodyguard capable of not noticing a massive armored Paladin tailing them closely?

Their panic was clearly plastered on their face. They expected to bring in Aurelia without any issues, and due to her being a traitor, nobody would have complained if they had some fun with her before bringing her to Prince Ayano.
However, instead of an easy target, they were met with a Hand of God.
Someone who had no respect for mortal authority; their status as first prince's bodyguards meant nothing.
They had never encountered someone who disregarded their authority so blatantly; after all, they were powerful warriors in addition to being the First Prince's bodyguards.
They were also all faithful servants of Chrunus, the mightiest of all gods.
They had every reason to be proud.
And yet they were running like cowards, they were running from an unknown paladin who should have bowed before them and kissed their feet.
Ban ran as fast as his legs could carry him; he was about to draw his weapon, and his hand was gone in an instant.
Despite his pride, he knew what that meant. The man that was with Aurelia was some kind of Demi Human; there were not many humans who could defeat Ban and other royal bodyguards.
"That damned traitor! She betrayed Chrunus and allied herself with demihumans! We must let Ayano know about this!" His frantic shouts reached his fellow guards.
First Prince's abode was located about 15 minutes walk away from the royal palace.
'If we get help from King's Guard, we should be able to kill that demi-human.' Ban chuckled in his mind, it was a genius idea.
Ban considered himself a genius among men after all, his plans couldn't possibly fail.
He might have lost a hand, but he would take vengeance.
The torment he would inflict on that man would be delightful; he could just imagine it.
'While he is being tortured I will use Aurelia as my toy right in front of him, how wonderful it would be to use a damned royal as a sex toy!' Ban's perverse thoughts ran rampant despite his mind slowing down due to the blood loss.
Healing magic was capable of regrowing limbs; anyone capable of using [Mend] would be able to repair his body.
It felt like hours of running through busy streets, dodging the civilians before making it to the entrance of the Prince's mansion.
"Open up!" Ban demanded, to which guards obliged.
Just as the Trio was about to enter, they were stopped by the accursed voice.
"Infidels, I must thank you for leading me to the prince. You see, God's time must not be wasted, and you graciously allowed me to fulfill that. I am thankful. However." Cedric unsheated Equilibrium, his stance relaxed.
"Stop! You are trespassing on Prince's property!" The guard at the entrance shouted.
"No Mortal owns any piece of land; It all belongs to God. And I, as his chose,n am here to cleanse it of rot."
"You see, sometimes an apple can be wonderful and sweet, but inside you may find rot and worms. You, to me, are a rot that I need to cleanse so that Humanity may thrive." With those words, Cedric slashed with his blade, ending the lives of the Guards and the trio of bodyguards.
With a swift motion, he sheathed it back to his back.
"Now where is that Infidel?" Cedric stepped into the halls of Prince's abode.
It was a large mansion, large stairs leading to a second floor with doors on left and right.
However, while the mansion was large, even it couldn't stop [God's Eye].
After all, the only reason Cedric hadn't used it was due to the fact that hundreds of thousands of people lived in the city; however, in the mansio, a mere hundred living souls could be found.
With a quick glance, he went over the residents; most were uninteresting. However, once Cedric found the prince, he saw something that truly described everything wrong with humanity.

'A Paragon of Sin, A lofty title for someone on the same level of demons. God blessed me once again. The prince was one the leaders of the Assasin organization, a treasure trove of information.' Cedric couldn't help but smile again. God had guided him, and he had fulfilled his Will, which was truly the best form of existence; he would have the honor of removing one of the humans that were only different from demons in his appearance.
Scheming royals were such a commonplace thing that he couldn't help but feel stupid for not suspecting the eldest sibling.
With Equilibrium in his hand, he walked towards the area of the mansion where the prince was located.
