Ayano was Paragon of Sin, a being on the level of Demons, no perhaps even worse.
He was an unforgivable existence; Cedric couldn't allow him to roam this world any more than he already did.
Paragon would speak; he would reveal all Cedric wanted to know.
Despite his power being quite high among the humans, he was still merely an assassin.
A lesser class would never stand a chance against even a Level 1 of Medium class. The same could be said for the next levels.
Medium level 100 would easily lose to level 1 of high, and Apex was on a whole different level than even the high class.
'That man, he collected 7 sins like one would collect unique items.' Cedric sighed. Why would a human become a Paragon of Sin by their own will?
That did not matter, rot must be cleansed from God's World so that faithful may grow and flourish.
'This Infidel has many answers he must give so that he may go to God's Embrace.' Cedric whispered in his mind as he walked toward First Prince.
It was a moment before Cedric found himself in front of Prince's door, with a powerful kick door splintered.
"Oh, Hello. Who do I owe this pleasure to?" Ayano spoke nonchalantly, his young-looking and smooth face showing no fear, his brown eyes staring with all sins combined behind them.
<
Once again, he felt an annoying feeling of someone trying to control the mind of one with the guidance of God.
"Infidel, cease that foolishness at once," Cedric demanded, to which Ayano looked at him with wide eyes.
"Well, ain't you a strong one. [Paragon of Sin - Inflict Sin]."
<
The voice of God echoed in his head. The way Ayano nonchalantly used the power of sin was unforgivable; he was unworthy of God's embrace.
"That did not work either, huh? You see, I am the first prince. And I am very powerful. You should run away, and I will forget about you barging through my door."
His speech might have been composed, but he panicked. Ayano was a trained assassin who never allowed his emotions to show, and yet, fear leaked.
A paragon of sin had failed.
"UNFORGIVABLE!" In a split second, Ayano snapped from his composed self before charging at Cedric, blade in hand.
'Wrath.'
Sheer anger blinded him.
Clang~
'Is that what the God meant that Paragons were unpredictable?' Cedric stood there. Ayano's hits did not even dent his mighty armor but instead shattered the blade, which forced the first prince to use his fists.
"You have a good set of armor, I WANT IT!" Ayano cackled like a madman as he dashed from Cedric.
'Greed.'
It was amusing to watch someone so sinful lose their composure; after all, they will feel despair when God's Chosen came to deliver them to God.
Ayano made some distance, his anger replaced by a look of pure hunger. "I will consume your heart! Oh, how delightful it will be!"
'Gluttony.'
His emotions ran wildly; Ayano was nothing but a vessel of sin.
With another charge, Ayano crashed into Cedric's Armor. "You must be one of Aurelia's henchmen, huh? My little sister will serve as my concubine, and you won't save her!"
'Lust.'
"My plans were amazing! My Genius plan was to pretend that I was a target and blame Aurelia for it; after all, she was the Princess of Fools who would believe her, just before she would have been executed. She would be kidnapped by my men, and then..." Ayano licked his lips.
'Pride and Lust'
"Paragon of Sin would dominate her, she would serve me for all eternity!"
"In the public eye, she would have been executed for treachery, but she would serve as my slave for her entire life! I wouldn't ever have to search for a more worthy concubine."
'Sloth.'
"And after I have secured my sister, Fate's End would deal with Father; he had served his purpose. I AM ONLY ONE WORTHY OF BEING A KING!"
'Envy.'
'What a disgusting Infidel...' Cedric couldn't believe it, an Infidel who was lower than a demon in his eyes.
This was a record, and until now, nobody has been able to reach such a low level.
"Kukuku, you will regret not serving me!" Ayano launched himself at Cedric once again, his mind consumed by sin.
Cedric did not need to know more. Ayano was an unforgivable existence, a prince consumed by sin.
Cedric caught Ayano by the throat, which prompted the prince to snap out of the Paragon of Sin's control.
"You really should be employed by me! Just imagine what we could do with my brain and your brawn!" Ayano spoke calmly.
"Tell me where can I find Fate's End!" Cedric spoke in a threatening tone.
"Ah, yes, you want to join! Just search in the sewers, and you will find a door with a red scythe depicted on it! So could you let me out now?" Ayano spoke, his fear nowhere to be seen.
Just as Ayano's words left his lips, his neck was snapped, his lifeless body dropping to the floor.
"I feel disgusted by being in this creature's presence, I need to pray." Cedric turned to walk out; after all, he told Aurelia to wait."
He finally had a clue. Ayano had foolishly told him everything he needed to know, and now their organization was within his grasp.
He should have been thankful that Paragon of Sin made the First Prince so unstable, however, it saddened him that humans had the potential to stoop to a level of demon, and in the case of Ayano, even lower than a demon.
Cedric closed his eyes as he entered a state of prayer.
"O Lord, may your wisdom and kindness guide me in the quest to cleanse this world so that your children may once again flourish. May your hand guide all of those who wish to turn to one true God. May all those who refuse your light learn of your wrath. Amen," Cedric recited a quick prayer before he headed to Golden Cup.
