Cedric healed as many people as he could on the way to Fate's End. While he couldn't convert everyone in the massive sewer system, he still did not wish to leave those who were right in front of him.
'Word will spread, those who I did not heal will come seeking aid soon enough...' Cedric mused in his mind. It was even more of a reason why establishing a church would be important.
Drip~
Drip~
The ceiling was dripping constantly, bouncing off Cedric's armor. Unlike dirty sewer water, this was water coming from the surface; perhaps it had started raining.
It did not matter to him, he was almost at the location where Fate's End was.
He could see them with [God's Eye], but the stone walls of the sewer system could not protect them. They had made a large market, practically a small underground city judging by the number of people he could see.
Air filled with holy energy, the purity of God that cleansed everything it touched.
[Divine Zeal] crackled in the air, the sheer divine power threatening to suffocate all that is impure.
Cedric would make them know he was approaching, they needed to learn fear of all that is Holy.
They would not be given mercy, they were worse than Infidels who occupied the holy land of Jerusalem.
Those strong enough to withstand [Divine Zeal] would be killed by his hand, their leaders would be purged from this world one way or another.
The Paragon of Sin was one of their leader, the fact that made their further existence unforgivable.
'I do not expect to find them all here.' Cedric did not harbor delusions of finding every last leader in this hideout.
However, eradicating such a major nest of Infidels would serve to sow fear and break any unity Fate's End had.
They were a threat to Christianity itself, as proven by their brazen attack against the First Star.
A threat to one true God's teachings was not to be tolerated.
His step echoed through the silent halls that were the sewers, his steps cracking the very stone Cedric stepped upon.
His hand gripped the Equilibrium's handle, ready to unleash the fury of the divine weapon.
Cedric's blade would fulfill its purpose, to cleanse enemies of God.
He did rejoice in the honor of bringing Unforgiveable Infidel before God's judgement.
Crack~
The stone cracked; his approach was felt by everyone, both surface and underground.
Lifeforms inside Fate's End hideout scurried like ants, panic gripping them enough to forget their merciless training.
Some of them have already fallen by the intense pressure of [Divine Zeal].
It did not take long for Cedric to approach the fake wall that the girl had mentioned. On a closer look, it was so obviously fake that anyone would see it as long as their perception wasn't trash.
'I guess those goons from earlier wouldn't notice it, huh...' Cedric pushed against the obviously fake wall, and with a mere flick, it crumbled, revealing a door with a red scythe painted on it.
He would not give them a chance to fight; Cedric would not allow them to know what hit them, however, they should show fear in the face of God's Chosen in their final moments.
'After all, Infidels should fear God's punishment.' With a mighty swing of Equilibrium, the door shattered, together with everything in front of it.
The powerful gust of air produced by the swing sent a group of assassins flying against the wall, killing them instantly before [Divine Zeal]'s pressure ended them.
"Who the fuck are you?!" A more powerful assassin spoke, his impure form already crumbling, his consciousness barely holding on.
Cedric glared at the man, mercy unknown to him.
"I am righteous punishment; I am God's Chosen," Cedric spoke with authority. he would not allow these Infidels to stand in his way.
The man attempted to attack, and yet his legs crumpled into dust, his impure body finally succumbing to purity of God's light.
"Those who crumble when basking in God's Light shall be cast to hell where they belong, you are merely a single step above demons." Cedric was clear: no mercy would be given out this day.
None others were allowed to utter a word; ignorance is no excuse.
They might not have known about The First Star, however, a mere fact they attacked her in front of Cedric himself was an insult against God himself.
Much like God had turned people to salt, the [Divine Zeal] turned all that was impure in Cedric's eyes into dust and ash.
The small community Fate's End made was quite impressive: 2 floors and a sewer stream covered by wood.
He could easily notice many living quarters and a smaller prisoner quarter below the fancy wooden floor.
They even had a bar right near the entrance where they could enjoy drinks and food.
It was truly a community, a community of unforgivable Infidels.
As the last member of Fate's End crumbled, Cedric activated [God's Eye]; he would not allow the ringleaders to escape, no matter what.
"If Prince was in the 4th seat, I will assume that there are at least 6 bosses in total." Cedric only had a rough guess, he had no idea about the exact number of bosses.
He swept the entire area with [God's Eye]; most were dead, and even some bystanders were caught, which did not make Cedric feel any remorse.
[Divine Zeal] would only have a suffocating and crushing effect on those considered impure, and right now, those were the members of Fate's End.
With his [God's Eye], Cedric detected 2 Individuals, both preparing for combat, clearly having difficulty moving from sheer pressure.

"Fallen Angels... How dare traitors roam so close to humanity! I should have expected this..." Cedric grew even more furious, They would meet their end; Cedric would not suffer for Traitors to live.
