The call was quickly answered by Logan's legal team. "Mr. Reid, how can we assist you?"
Selina's eyelid twitched. Wait a minute… why was he calling his lawyers? Was he planning to sue her for extortion?
Then she heard Logan's leisurely voice. "How long would it take to transfer all my assets to Mrs. Reid?"
The lawyer on the other end: "…"
There was a noticeable pause. "Sir, are you sure?"
"Very sure." Logan lightly tapped his fingers against the table. "Draft the paperwork."
Still baffled, the lawyer hung up. Logan then looked up at Selina and said casually, "If I give Mrs. Reid all my assets, will that be enough to compensate for today's losses?"
Selina's heart skipped a beat.
Her mind screamed that this was just another one of his tricks, and she absolutely should not fall for it.
