The maid was stunned for a moment. "Sir went out tonight. Didn't he go to pick you up?"
Selina glanced at her phone—there were no missed calls from Logan. "When did he leave?"
"A little after eight..." The maid's voice gradually lowered. "Madam, don't worry. Maybe he just went to the office. I'll call to check—"
But after a long wait, Logan's phone remained unanswered.
Selina looked away. "No need. I'll go rest first."
The maid stammered, "O-okay, madam, please head upstairs."
Back in her bedroom, an inexplicable wave of frustration welled up in Selina's heart.
