Aurora had just excused herself after she and Sera had had breakfast together in the morning. And unlike how Sera would often wish for Aurora to stay longer in the excuse of helping the Empress with certain duties, Sera gladly accepted Aurora's departure that day, because for some reason, she was feeling extremely under the weather.
Not long after Aurora had left, Sera had decided to lie down again although it hadn't been long since she woke up, and no one questioned her strange behavior. Sera did that from time to time. Unfortunately, her peace was disturbed the moment Mertyll came to her, bearing some news.
"Your Majesty."
Sera frowned, grimacing at the idea to get back up while her body felt awfully sore. Mertyll knew that, and she too felt the guilt of waking the young lady up while she was unwell, but she had to do as told. It was from her husband after all.
"His Majesty has sent an invitation."
