Three days later:
"Her Grace has arrived! Open the gates!"
The knights stationed outside the massive Palace gates yelled at one another, turning the gears that pulled the rot iron gates apart. Just as it did, dirt flew all across the gates and a bit on the knights as a stallion as tall as a man galloped in full speed, followed by another, making a few of the men jump back.
"HYA!" The first rider continued to whip the horse to move faster, her hairs having had already come loose from her bun and messily slapping around her face. Yet her eyes never left the road ahead. Once she noticed the stables coming into view, she slowed her pace, but didn't stop.
They would not be stopping there.
