It seemed like time had stopped ticking, and everything was frozen in place. The trees were still like the statue Aurora saw at the entrance of the Rose Palace, and the birds were suddenly awfully quiet. Even their attendees had stopped breathing, fearing what would happen if they made if the slightest of sounds.
All that moved, was the soft breeze that blew by them, Aurora's white dress fluttering with the wind and her silver hairs ticking her bare face. The breeze then wafted towards Tesarius, carrying her almond blossom scent with it. He inhaled deeply, but not once did he take his eyes off her. He could not. The sight before him was mesmerizing.
So, there they stood, two past lovers with a long distance between them, neither one of them moving. Tesarius wanted to, he wanted to walk towards her, look deep into her golden eyes he had always looked at through the mask, and tell her how much he missed seeing her face.
