Dante, noticing the slight hesitancy in her demeanor, leaned forward, resting his elbow on the table. He propped his face up with his knuckles and observed her with admiration. The way she seemed hesitant yet hopeful made his heart soften.
Chuckling softly, he shook his head slightly and said, "Dove, you don't have to feel embarrassed about asking for my help. You do realize I'm at your service 24/7, right? All you need to do is give the order, madam."
The way he said it made Dove blink before she pursed her lips shyly. He… didn't have to phrase it like that.
