Lin Ziao's heart pounded in his chest as he sat on the rocky ground, trying to process what had just happened. His eyes were wide with excitement, his breath nervously coming in and out.
This is a Cultivation Technique!!
I am damn lucky!!
"A cultivation technique… just appeared in my mind? How is that even possible?" he muttered, still flustered from the realization. He had never possessed a cultivation technique before. Not even a basic one. And now, out of nowhere, an advanced one had surfaced in his consciousness.
"Wait… could it be because of that transformation?" His mind raced, trying to connect the dots. The transformation he had undergone during his battle with the white-furred creature—it had been unlike anything he had ever experienced. His body had moved on its own, his strength had surged, and his senses had sharpened beyond the norms.
"If that's the case… then I have to learn how to transform again!" he declared to himself. His determination became stronger than ever. He had to transform again.... after all
the transformation came with free cultivation techniques.
Countless thoughts flashed through his mind as he tried to remember every detail of the transformation. What had triggered it? What had changed inside him? No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't recall the exact moment it happened. It was as if something deep within him had been awakened at the brink of death, but now it remained silent, leaving him utterly frustrated.
"Just when I thought I had good luck for once…" he sighed. He had hoped that accessing the transformation would be as simple as recalling a memory, but it was proving to be far more difficult.
"I guess I have no choice but to study this cultivation technique first," he muttered, accepting his current reality. If the transformation was linked to the cultivation technique, then mastering it was his best shot at gaining control over that incredible power.
Closing his eyes, he focused on his sea of consciousness. It was there, within his mind, that he saw them—sixteen mysterious trigrams floating like ancient symbols of power. Each trigram contained an image of a tiger in a unique stance, as if they were demonstrating battle techniques meant for him to learn.
His eyes locked onto the first tiger. It crouched low to the ground, its elbow logded tightly against its stomach, its body coiled like a spring ready to unleash devastating power. The moment he focused on it, the tiger lunged forward with blinding speed!
Startled, Lin Ziao gasped and lost his concentration, his real body jolting back. The sudden shock made him lose balance, and he crashed onto the rocky ground with a loud thud!
"Owww!" he yelped, pain shooting through his back.
He gritted his teeth, rubbing his sore spots. "Damn cultivation technique! What did I do to deserve this?!" he groaned, frustrated. Then he paused, then thought further and concluded, "No… it's not my fault. That damn tiger lunged at me during my visit to my sea of consciousness and now my ass hurts."
Looking left and right to make sure nobody saw him,he sighed" At least my drip is still intact."
After that,he focused and he clenched his fists "I won't give up that easily! I refuse to let some imaginary tiger scare me away!"
Determined, he steadied himself and re-entered his sea of consciousness. Once again, he observed the first tiger as it repeated the same movement. But this time, he was prepared.
The tiger crouched, its elbow touching its stomach. Then, with an explosion of power, it lunged forward. Lin Ziao watched closely, memorizing the movement. The tiger's eyes darkened, its claws extended, and with a single, fluid motion, it brought down its prey.
Lin Ziao opened his eyes, his mind now flooded with newfound understanding. "So that's how it moves… Alright, time to try it myself."
Mimicking the tiger, he crouched down, his body tensing as he attempted to recreate the posture. It felt unnatural at first—his legs trembled, his muscles burned, and his balance wavered. But he gritted his teeth and pushed through.
Then, something incredible happened.
Boom!
A surge of energy coursed through his body. His blood boiled with power, and he felt an electrifying force pulsate through his veins. It was the same feeling he had experienced in his fight—the same overwhelming strength he had unleashed before!
His heart pounded wildly, adrenaline flooding his senses. He could feel it—his transformation was happening again!
ROAR! ROAR!
A powerful, primal roar erupted from deep within him. His voice carried the intensity of a wild beast, shaking the very air around him. His body surged with newfound strength, his muscles tightened, and his instincts sharpened.
"The Tiger Secures Its Prey—First Move!" Lin Ziao declared, his voice filled with exhilaration.
His hands trembled as he clenched them into fists. The transformation wasn't just a hallucination—it was real. He could feel it in his bones, in his blood, in every fiber of his being. He could also feel his Qi being sapped away at alarming rates.
His transformation abruptly ended but he is happy with the power he felt. He now held the key to avenge his brother— power!!
His breathing was heavy, his body tingling with residual power. He stared at his hands in disbelief. "So it wasn't just a fluke… I really transformed again."
Excitement coursed through him as he steadied his stance. He had finally found the key to unlocking his transformation. It wasn't just some random miracle—it was something he could control, something he could master.
He looked back at his sea of consciousness, the remaining fifteen tigers waiting for him. If one stance had granted him this much power, then what about the others? How much stronger could he become?
A smirk played on his lips. "If I can master all sixteen moves… then no one will be able to stop me plus I would be able to revenge Big Brother Han."
He still vividly remembered the pain and powerlessness he felt. He could only stand there and watch how his brother was killed.
His journey had just begun, but one thing was certain—he was no longer just an ordinary cultivator. He had stepped onto a path far beyond anything he had imagined. And he was ready to embrace it with everything he had. He was truly a true cultivator now.
The tiger Bloodline within him had awakened and it wasn't going to hide within him anymore.
He went back to his sea of consciousness and tried to view the other tigers only to end up with a dark expression on his sullen face.
