At that moment Maria leaned in closer to Chloe, lowering her voice as she eyed Valentina and Raymond stepping into the dealership. Her lips curled in distaste.
"What are they even doing here?" she muttered, tilting her head slightly. "Does this look like some low-end car shop they can just stroll into like they belong?"
Then Chloe crossed her arms, her nails digging lightly into her skin as she exhaled sharply.
"I have no idea," she replied, her voice carrying a frustrated edge. "But honestly, I feel like Valentina is watching me. She just seems to show up wherever I go. It's like she's—"
She stopped, glancing toward Valentina, who hadn't even noticed them yet.
Maria smirked. "Paranoid much?"
