Now I understand when they say people don't see what's right in front of them, they meant it. Vincent was busy assuming Jae Won is having a little crush on his friend but he has no idea he is the one being crushed on. "You sure?" Jae Won asked looking at Vincent with I don't believe you expression drawn on his face. But Vincent still denied of all accusations. "Okay, if you say so" Jae Won said and went back to taking pictures and Snapchat with Wendell and Samuel.
Gloria on the other hand was so pissed with Wendell and Samuel for rhino her alone time with Jae Won. She started to look around. She climbed up the stairs and Ebenezer Vincent's room to check out on where her crush sleeps since he and Vincent shared a room. 'Why the hell would they allow two grown ups share a room. They all have their privacy for Christ sake' she thought while she lied down on the bed.
Talk about female pervert, here Gloria was showing her perverted actions in the room. As Gloria lied down on the bed sniffing for God knows what. She kept sniffing in until she noticed something on the night stand. Gloria turned to take a good look at what got her attention. It was none other than the wood carving Vincent got for Jae Won the day of their outing with Charles. Yes, the day Vincent bought the traditional wrist bead. 'This is a nice wood carving" she thought.
Gloria proceed to take a look at the pictures on the display cabinet at the corner of the room. She was looking through until she noticed one picture. A picture of Jae Won sound asleep looking majestically beautiful like a king. This picture was taken by Vincent one early morning after he woke to take his shower as usual. He came back from taking the shower only to witnes such a magnificent sight that took his breath away. He didn't want to waste such a scene and went ahead to take a picture put it in a frame and display for the whole world to see.
Gloria who had found such a beautiful picture of his crush wanted to take it with her. Before she could act fast, she was so lost in her own bubble world where she and Jae Won were lost in their own love. This ended when she was pulled back to reality by a sound that seems agitated just hearing it "what are you doing?" were the words that shattered her beautiful peaceful fantasy. With her trembling like a leaf "I'm….I.. I'm not doing anything" she said after a few seconds while she placed back the picture on the shelf of the display cabinet.
No one needs to describe Vincent anger, even a new born baby could see how pissed Vincent was at that time. How could that shameless bitch took a picture of someone he cherishes m. If a stranger or a thief took that picture, he wouldn't be so pissed like that but Gloria got him so pissed like a wet cat igniting a volcano within him. "What are you doing here?" he asked again walking slowly towards her but with each steps he took Gloria could feel the weight of his glare bearing down on her like a ton of bricks. She sensed if she doesn't make a run for her life, it will end badly. She sprinted away, not looking back until she was out of the room.
Back at the living room, Beatrice had finished string the dining table and had just finished announcing thy dinner is served. This was a few minutes after Jae Won had managed to sneak away from those journalist. Claudia and Christiana who were busy watching a kdrama series had their attention focus on the series they didn't asingle sentence Beatrice said. Jae Won had to go tap them to get their attention. "Dinner is ready" he said and they nodded with a bright smile. Jae Won was about to go upstairs to call Vincent when he saw Gloria running down as if she was been chased by a wild animal in a dark forest. Before he could ask what was happening he saw Vincent coming down with every pore on his skin seethed from anger especially on his face.
Jae Won didn't have to ask, he was certain something happened between those two which resulted at him being angry. They all seated and had their dinner peacefully and lovely. "Where are your parents" Jae Won asked munching on his food. "Father is still at the office and mummy is still at the shop" he replied.
Dinner ended and the rest dispersed to their rooms after they cleared the dining table. Gloria took an opportunity that was displayed on a silver platter as she noticed Jae Won was focus on his conversation with Vincent. She took Jae Won's phone and dial her number to get Jae Won number and erase all evidence.
Their attention was shifted to the door as two people came in talking and laughing so hard as if they were the only people in this world. As they kept talking and retelling old stories that made them laugh at that time and still are, they didn't pay attention to their surrounding as they walked up the stairs.
Gloria knew her time was up so she sneakily walked slowly towards the door like a thief not to attract their attention. She eventually did but got lucky s she closed the door so loudly alerting Mrs Gladys and her husband to shift their attention to the door only to be met with not a single soul. That's when they noticed Vincent and Jae Won looking at them surprisingly.
"There you are" Mrs Gladys said coming down the stairs and walking faster towards Jae Won "Son, I bought you a few things" she said as she opened ten shop bags. The few things she said she has bought was a boutique. "Wow, mum this is really a few things you could buy" he said in a sarcastic but his mum gave him the look of mind your business. "Oh I see, now I'm not even your biological son again" he said shaking his head in an unbelievable way.
Mr Jonathan who was watching this scene with sparkly eyes and smiles turned to go back to his room to shower. They have been at it for almost an hour as Jae Won kept changing into the clothes he was gifted by his second mum. Jae Won was so overwhelmed as tears run down his cheek uncontrollably "thank you mummy" he said blurted out without realizing he called Mrs Gladys 'mummy'.
Mrs Gladys who was just called mummy was so dumbfounded hugged him tightly unable for Jae Won to breathe "mum, he can't breathe" Vincent intervened before she kills Jae Won before his time.
"Oops, sorry" Mrs Gladys said while she released Jae Won from her grip. "Now I'm going to my room"she said while she walked up the stairs to go to her room. Jae Won turned to look at Vincent tears still lingering in her eyes. "Come on, let's go to the room to learn some Korean as you promised" Vincent said while he helped Jae Won packed his boutique back into the shop bags while they walked shoulder to shoulder to their room I must say.
They studies for a while with smiles and excitement emanating from both of them. Vincent also promised Jae Won to teach him the native language 'Twi' which he had promised after his lesson in Korean. With the two of them lying down on the bed while doing some studying. The two really looked so lovely just by watching them from afar. It's like they are in their own world just the two of them like the world revolves around them.
They kept studying until Jae Won made a mistake pronouncing one word in Twi making Vincent burst out laughing uncontrollably. He laughed for almost five minutes making Jae Won lose all his cool.
With him being teased like that, Jae Won suddenly picked up a pillow and whacks it at Vincent. "Ouch" is what he said after Vincent touch his head where Jae Won hit him. "What was that for?" Vincent asked while approaching closer toward Jae Won. "Jae Won moved back a little putting some distance between them "for making fun of me" Jae Won replied. Vincent eyes sparkled like a disco light with a little mischief as he grabs a nearby pillow and swings at back at Jae Won. "That was close" said by Jae Won as he dodged but Vincent didn't give up. He swung back at Jae Won for the third time, this time it hit his target. This is the beginning of their pillow fight that evening.
I can't blame them, as the tension between them get closer and closer, Jae Won knew perfectly well he is really falling for Vincent. But Vincent kept telling himself is a brotherly feelings.
