Romeo blinked at Helena.
'Did we break him?' Helena asked Hera as Romeo stood in front of her, frozen like a statue.
'I think he's in shock,' Hera answered.
'Try reaching out to Ryder,' Helena instructed her wolf.
'He's there but he's just as confused as his human,' Here chuckled.
"Romeo?" Helena asked as she reached out and poked him on the shoulder.
"I don't think he realized that other women existed," Rae teased.
"Crazy," Helena said, rolling her eyes at her best friend. "Of course, he knows other women exist, he's slept with other women."
Helena hadn't meant it, but there was a slight bite to her tone.
She really didn't mind that Romeo had slept with other she-wolves before, except for Sara. Sara was an exception, the she-wolf thought she was so special for simply sharing Romeo's bed once.
'I doubt he even let her spend the night,' Hera scoffed, making Helena laugh.
"Rome?" Helena asked in a gentler tone this time.
He shook his head and blinked.
